| It's not really directly based on the amount of shared anime as far as I know, more like on your differences in scores and such for example, if you rate something low and the other person rates the same thing high, and the reverse situation with some other title, your affinity is gonna be really low |

So if you have a bunch of shared anime with another person but your scores are different for all of them, then you have negative affinity. |
| It calculates the mean scores for both of you then compares the difference between differences between mean and score for every entry, and calculates the mean of all of them, and after that converts it into scale from -100 to 100. The number of shared entries is not taken into account, however, affinity is only calculated if you share at least ten entries scored by both of you |
