| So who here actually likes the anime? I dislike how they made Zastin a semi-major character. I also think they took out a lot of the good jokes that helped make the manga funny. The whole underwear shopping scene was done really quick and that part was really funny in the manga. Club needs more activity :p. I can't believe the To LOVE-Ru club isn't having posts every other minute :p. Let's get the ball rolling! |
| I agree with you that the anime is worse than the manga, but thats only to be expected. What really annoys me about the anime is that rito hardly has any time alone with anyone, and he can't really build on any of his multi relationships... lol. The manga had a lot of opportunities for that, and rito of course is apologizing a lot, which the anime lacks. I guess that kind of annoys me too, cause it feels like in the anime all the girls hate him (except lala of course). Also, Rito kinda feels like an outsider to me in the anime, wheras in the manga I can relate more with him. Its hard to explain all the little subtleties, but the manga's definitely better. |

| i agree that the manga is better than the anime, alot of fanservice there is though, isn't there? which actually plays pretty true the manga with all the embarassing situations rito gets into. and you can't expect them to cover every little detail from the manga into half an hour. also someone was talking about how rito was hated by most of the other girls, except lala. that isn't true, run likes him and so does haruna (when she isn't slapping him, :p). |

| definitely manga. 1st reason=they cut too many scenes and episodes which was supposed to appear in the anime(episode 1 etc) 2nd reason=in the manga, haruna shows more affection towards rito and she admits her love for him. 3rd reason=the anime is way too short 4th reason=the comedy in the manga is better  |

| Yes, the anime does suck compare to the manga. The only thing I liked about the anime was, they made Haruna cuter through animation :D |
