| Alright so, for the longest time I've always wanted to take one of my old Afghan/ deployment/training photos and get it, I dunno Anime-ized? Manga-ized? Is there a word for that? It seems silly, but It's been a dream of mine for a long time. I can't draw for shit, believe me I tried. Now with this comes a great deal of trust, you'll actually be receiving a no shit photo of us. Now granted we have our balaclavas or goggles etc. on, but still. To do this would mean a lot, I only did four years, but sometimes (and especially since I started writing a fanfiction based on some of my old platoon) I miss it you know? Also truth be told it's hard as hell to find a decent picture of an anime Abrams etc. Doing this preserves my time in, and it would look bad ass as hell. Also this work would be shared amongst some of my old platoon mates, many of whom are actually pretty big anime fans themselves. Thanks for your time. |

| I'd consider the DeviantArt forum as well, many people there would be willing to help out, and if it comes down to it, you can pay for a commission around $20-30 USD as a good price for nice art. |
