is this true? i found some sources that say the author is a girl?

damn I found it hard to believe that a woman would write a manga like this.

especially since most "yuri" artists who aren't gay themselves are usually male.

vice versa for yaoi which is almost all dominated by female artists.

Dude, seriously? Most yuri is written by women, and mostly straight. Both gay and lesbian content in Japan is considered content for a predominantly general female audience. Secondly, quite a few female authors write ecchi or simply sexualized female content. Many cute girl illustrators are girls.

I know I'm a bit late to answer this, But no, The author is not a woman. The author is a male who uses a female name. I can find the proof to support this in a moment and supply a link. It's written by a man, Lots of sexual manga in general is written by men, I don't see where or how the other responder came to their conclusion that lots of manga like this is done by women cause it's not. Men do a lot more manga this style.

Seems like a cope moment. If we look up Yuri Manga's and anime there are more done by men, Sexual content in general is more done by men. In Japan and everywhere really. The content done by women normally also have a distinctive different vibe, As men and women fantasies can be quite different. Also there's a case to be made for artist like YoshimuraKana who seemingly want to be seen as a women or may even have some transgender vibes to the point where they'll use a woman pen name but actually be a man.
Is it that hard to imagine a man who would prefer to be a woman and a lesbian and highly adores the female figure? Not really imo, That's all this is really. There's more guys like this than one would think.
Makes me wonder what ones think when they see someone with a female name elsewhere... Are they instantly a woman? Can't they be a man who want to be seen or treated as a woman.... Not to mention cat fishers and such.
