| So yeah, following the sad and unexpected(or expected since only clickbaits earn money nowadays) gametrailers shut down a month or two ago, the people who worked there seem to have decided to stick together becoming an independent content creator. They are planning a 12 hour opening-day livestream today at 12PDT and have already scheduled additional events over the month as per their twitch description. Currently while it is still starting they seem to focus on Twitch streaming and youtube content, with eventual normal GT like schedules setting in. They also have set up patreon for donations . ITs already around 7k/month but to bring back review sections(aka the main thing people enjoyed on GameTrailers) a goal of 15k/month is needed. | Well most of the game journalist sites that are dying or dead are those who spread tyranny or just couldn't keep up. I'm glad the GT crew are still around though. |
