And just when most of us thought it was over (had it completed at 13 episodes), there came a 14th ep in the stream feed. Can't go wrong with more though!

Also, Spring 2014 is slated to destroy Winter 2014 by lengths. From the masculine to the feminine. From the cute to the explosive. From the slow and romantic to the frantic and adventurous. There's just so much to choose from for viewers. I love it!

I wonder if what type of anime you enjoy correlates to how you like your RPGs.... Hmm...

StyleFire, I'm guessing you don't like RPGs? Haha.

Can't say I don't like them, since I only look at racing games nowadays. I really wouldn't know though...

Tastes could correlate to a lot of things actually.

Well, I finished the third Madoka movie and I feel like my brain is tied in a knot now (more in the spoilers below). If anyone else has watched it feel free to give your interpretation of the movie, I would love to read it. Also finished the second episode of Mushi-Shi 2 and I liked it a lot. Unfortunately it felt like I was only watching it for 5min when it ended.

Contains Madoka Movie 3 Spoilers

I just started Btooom. Only watched two episodes, but I can already tell that the anime has bad direction and voice acting (yes, watching in JP) is quite horrible. Well, let's see if this gets any better in later episodes or as a big fan of survival genre I hope so!

Maybe I used wrong adjective, it's not Agapio horrible, but some of the cast really annoy me.

Watched a few more eps and it's getting better slowly in every ep. I really loved the psycho kid btw x)

gurren laggan to me was a roller coaster. Personally, the show to me was something like. (not really a spoiler, but I'll wrap it in spoiler tag anyways).

of course those are extremely rough numbers

Just finished Silver Spoon. That was a damn good slice of life. I love it when they keep a show simple.

Definitely give Gurren Lagann a watch, it will not be as random and hectic as kill la kill though. If your looking for that spastic feeling anime try FLCL. Kill la Kill is kinda like mixing FLCL with Gurren Lagann and sprinkling it with fanservice. Thats how it came across for me anyway
But that's just one opinion.

so 2nd episode of mushishi season 2 was even more underwhelming than the first...

i'm starting to get a little worried about the quality of the season, hopefully it turns around

also black bullet might just be my favourite anime of the season, seems a little early to tell but it is fucking awesome

Mushishi itself was hard to fully appreciate in subsequent watches. I haven't seen any 2nd season, but I have tried to rewatch the first season a few times and I can't get through it (and I loved it the first time through). Part of the reason I am not even putting the second season on my PTW list.

don't say this!!! i hope i disagree...but i know you loved mushishi as much as i did...hopefully things turn around...although i thought the first ep was okish

@night
i def disagree with you about rewatching S1...i grew to appreciate it even more and found more subtleties with each viewing. i think I've seen it cover to cover at least 4 times now...but diffrent strokes :P

I actually enjoyed the second episode more than the first episode.

Edit: Actually, on second thought I liked the first episode more because the of the Mushi-Shi gathering :)

the gathering was cool..def the best part, but the rest...kinda meh, but it was nice to just see Ginko and be back in that world again

@night
is that because maybe you already know how it ended? I could see that since part of the show was the mystery of it.

btw, closet golfer? :P

Trying to blast through animus I left unfinished when I took my (long) downtime from anime. Also just learned that new Kara no Kyoukai movie has been released, so going to watch that tonight. Just hoping it will be of the better side of the series as I really found this movie series to be uneven on the enjoyment level. And then there's that Madoka movie too! And wait, Urobuchi is also writing new original series? And what's this? Shinichiro Watanabe going to direct a new series too?!

Newly found enthusiasm to watch anime! Feels good, man.

Better to be a closet golfer than an actual, insane one (like I was).

I didn't really catch anything different with the two episodes of Mushishi Zoku Shou. I'd say it's still very much in form, but I'd rather wait until the end of the year than jump to conclusions prematurely.

Also, I'd say No Game No Life is a weaker, more ecchi-injected version of that Problem Children anime that aired a year ago. I have every reason to drop this, but I think I'll just sit through it to see how it stacks up with Problem Children.

Haha i've only been real golfing 5 or so times. I suck, but it's fun. Driving range is fun! Ya know it is prolly 'fore' not 'four' now that i think about it haha.

Re: mushishi. Well the first time i watched it i did it over a month. Rewatching i always watched 3 to 5 eps at a time. That probably has something to do with it.

I've hit the top of someone's roof (slicing the ball off the tee). I've flown clubs (maybe broken a few too). I've went 10+ over on a hole. I've let the sharpest of expletives slip from the tongue on numerous occasions. I've been to that point where you feel like the world should end right then and there...

But yeah, the driving range is good to limit the damage. I miss the days when I had a smooth swing and could hit the higher irons (6 iron through sand wedge) with precision. It's interesting to have to hit over trees or water, out of a bunker, or from a slope of sorts on the course though.

Thanks for the recommendations Ascius! ^_^ Will check those all out. Captain Earth's got some of my favourite voice actor line-up, Isshukan Friends sounds very cute and though I had skipped trying Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou because of it's weak synopsis description before, I'll give it a try!

I'm much more into frisbee golf (or disc golf) than to regular golf myself. It's much cheaper too. :P (Of course my experience with golf is limited to one swing, which resulted the ball to get lost in the nearest field...)

Did you get Madoka manga that Ivrea Suomi published a few weeks ago? I must say it's a very nice publication since it's identical to original Japanese one.

Recently finished Nagi no Asukara. I have mixed feelings about the genre but this anime surprised me and impressed me. The Atmosphere was one of the best I have seen, and it had lots of good symbolism and social commentary. It might have had its flaws but I love when a show outshines your expectations.

Side note: what was up with the golf ball size tears (Miuna end of ep 11)
But that's just one opinion.
