| I did not watch this movie yet but wondered exactly one thing: Did they have anything about Season 3 in this? I expected a post-credits scene on the 3rd and final recap movie to tease the upcoming new season. Or at least a still image: "Please look forward to Anime-Related Event X 2018 on this date for news on Code Geass Season 3!" |
| They will hold an event on the 5th week of screening and many believe it will be about Resurrection. This is only the first weekend so we still have 4 more weeks of waiting cause they specifically said this weekend not to ask any questions about Resurrection at the opening event so they want to keep it a secret until the screenings are done. |

| That's very reassuring. At least it isn't totally unknown like wait till god knows when and maybe not hearing anything, total silence till next year. Timing of that suggests likely Fall airdate or maybe summer if they confirm only just before it begins very close to episode 1's air date. |
| Forums are back after a 3 month downtime! I wonder if anything new has come up about Code Geass season 3? From google, some sites claim it's set for 2018 but I am unable to find anything official to confirm that. Unless it was in the trailer, I avoided the trailer to stay spoiler free. All I found was someone saying this on a Quora page: "Yes , It will officially be out by the end of 2018. " No citations but seems reasonable to expect given that it would be little bit strange to have announced confirmation of R3 back in January 2018 if it was set for a 2019 airdate. Can't wait for the return of one of the greats! |

It's rare that movies turn out well for anime, there are only a few.I don't know if you already know or not but Code Geass Fukkatsu no Lelouch will be a movie that airs in February 2019. This movie is R3 and there are currently no hints towards an actual seasonal continuation. Hopefully, they will announce an R4 at the end of the movie. Well at least they showed stuff for OPM2 a couple days & that doesn't look like a movie. Looks like Attack on Titan S3 vs Steins Gate 0 for AotY. |
