Should I watch the SD Series? Ive watched a majority of the Gundam shows and movies. I never hear people talk about them, so I don't know what I should expect.

Geez it's been ages since I visited my own group....

anyone else feel like two years is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long to wait for 6 episodes of Gundam Unicorn. I mean sure, each episode is 45 minutes long, but all in all, it's just the same as a 12 episode series. and normal studios only need a year to make even a 50 episode series. WTH!!!

tranceotaku | Jul 23, 2010 12:19 AM
I really really hope they do it in chunks and not vol by vol. Turn-A that is...

And now here's something we hope you'll really like!

skygtr | Jul 22, 2010 8:33 PM
Turn A will add to my already large Gundam DVD/BR collection. As for Turn A on BR, I doubt it since it's not on BR in Japan yet.

WiikendWarrior84 | Jul 22, 2010 7:41 PM
I guess I'll call Firsties...

Turn A is official:

I will without a doubt be buying Turn A if it ever comes out. Though I will be not be buying it right away if they release it in volumes at such a slow pace like they do with most releases. I will just wait for them all to be released in a set, thin pack, or I see them on sale. I hope this doesn't get such a lousy release if/when they do release it.

I've just been burned by Volume released anime too many times to put forth the effort and money. Maybe if it's in 5.1 and/or Blu-ray.

tranceotaku | Jul 21, 2010 1:17 PM
Well, I have never watched Turn-A. Is a blind faith buy on my part good or bad? If the rumors are true that is.

WiikendWarrior84 | Jul 21, 2010 9:46 AM
Bandai Entertainment has stated that they will announce come new licenses during Comic-con this weekend they have also hinted at one of the announcements by saying " Hmmm~ let's visit TV Tropes for some descriptions for one of the announcements next week..." followed by "'Go Out With A Smile", "Humans Are Warriors", "New Age Retro Hippie"...randomly picked those..'

Which both would seem to indicate Turn A Gundam is one of the new announcements. There is no confirmation at this time nor do I believe we should be acting the least bit excited till we have release dates for any announcement this year.

Bandai announced licenses for the Zeta Movie Trilogy in 2005 or 2006 but we didn't see releases here till last month.

Turn-A Gundam in the states! Will they dub it? I hope so.

OtakuFreak | Jul 18, 2010 8:19 PM
Hey did anyone hear that they are releasing Turn A in the states!? I've seen it already but I'm actually happy that they're bringing it here.

If anyone knows of an organization or club planning a trip to Shizuoka to see the 1/1 Gundam. Shoot me a pm for the hookup. I've got some cash and an itch to see that awesome site!

The first episode of Gundam Unicorn, “The day of unicorn”, will be available in Japan in the following ways:

* From February 20th to March 5th, it will be screened in five theaters (Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo and Fukuoka). The privileged ones who assist this screening are allowed to purchase the Blu-Ray Disc before its official release date. It specifications will be announced on the official website on January 20th.
* From February 20th, the first episode of Gundam Unicorn will be available on the japanese PlaystationStore [it is the "Internet" release previously announced].
* On 2010 March 12th, it will be available on Blu-Ray (5.040 JPY) and DVD (3.990 JPY).

No information about the worldwide release.

Source : Char custom news (December issue of the Gundam Ace magazine).

This is nicely planned, as you can see. Do wonder what the worldwide release will feature.

I've come up with my top three Mobile Suits that I use in Gundam Vs Gundam:

1) Victory Gundam
2) Gundam Heavy Arms
3) Strike Gundam

What are yours?
