Just a heads up to any admins seeing the comment from Tingy below. It is regarding a new app that will allow members to communicate through mobile. Info here: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2016565 I haven't enabled it yet, but I probably will do it within the next week if I'm unable to speak with any other admins.The only reason I can think to not do it is that we already have a Discord and I'm not sure if people want to split up the communities, but I think it would be long term if we migrate people back to MAL. Currently, it's only available for mobile, but they plan on making available for the web at some point as well. |

I guess that most people that used to be in their 20's and had some free time now are busier with work and stuff.. Plus, this interface could be more adapted to the current times and closer to the ones everyone uses on social media....it still feels a lot like the 90s chats really... |

Everyone thought it would be a good idea to chat on Skype and Discord...Maybe the club would have died eventually regardless idk. I wasn't really watching anime anymore at one point, but this was just a cool place to hang out. |

There's someone I watch on Youtube who was talking about the early days of the internet back when everyone was in forums rather than social media. I realized that MAL was the closest thing I had to that, but I was around in the early 2000s and could have been on forum sites. |

On a typical week, I:- talk to my work colleagues for 20 minutes a day (remote call) - talk to my parents over the phone once or twice - possible 5 mins talking at the gym That's it. |
