Anime Minor Jewels Club

Information

There have been numerous efforts in the past to assimilate as many remarkable titles as possible in a single "Essential" list or chart that could work as decent reference material for recommendation, and that much is generally enough for the average fan to explore the possibilities of the medium... but what about those lesser known great titles that, for various reasons, aren't referenced as much and promptly fade into obscurity?

The purpose of this club is to take underrated minor jewels back to the light, to be put on display on the side, among the essential collection.

If you have any suggestions or think something shouldn't be on the list, don't hesitate to leave a comment! We could always make use of more feedback to improve the quality of this list.

Bounty Dog: Getsumen no Ibu ?

It's only a 2 ep OVA, which obviously had very low budget, but the art is amazing, the animation was extremely limited but effectively used, Shirow, Masamune did some solid mechanical/character design, and IMO it was influential on some of the best-known animes in the West (ie the noir-detective/cyberpunk blends in Cowboy Bebop and GitS)

Added rakugo despite it having quite a bit of popularity (it will probably drop with time). Not familiar enough with both Igano and Ulysses so I'm holding it and the rest don't deserve an inclusion from what I know

This is the most underrated anime movie of 2015 and it's good.
