Considering that I never read the novels, I'll take your word for it. If they screw up the movie, it will possibly be the biggest debacle in everything anime-related. (I wouldn't be surprised if there was a riot. *readies torch and pitchfork just in case*)

Yes, considering it's Kadokawa... They can ruin a lot of things, but I'm not putting blind faith in the movie. I'm just reasoning, because I don't think there could be anything to fuck up. So don't pretend like I'm a some sort of a fanboy.

S2 would've been good if there was no Endless Eight. Considering there's nothing to repeat in the novel, I don't think they could troll us anymore. Anyway, it's just a speculation, and you're totally right about that there's a chance they will ruin it.

It's just that S2 abused our trust in the series. S1 was just perfect, like JuicyBuddha said. How could they break our dreams =(, and while we've been waiting for 3 years.

But seriously now that they've gone this far, it WOULD be kinda funny if they ruined the Disappearance just to spite all the people who say it's the best book and can't be ruined. o_O
