So, those of you that know me from various clubs probably know I've been gone for a little over a week because I was in Japan.  Now, I shall tell you about the epicness that is Japan.

Leave the airport for a 12 hour flight.  that sucked...  Very boring.  so, getting to the goods.  We land in Narita International Airport and meet up with our tour guide. Her name is Michiyo, we called her Michi.  She is definitely one of the coolest/nicest people to walk on this planet.  She made grammar errors in almost every sentence, but that only added to her charm.  She ended almost every sentence with "Yesss..."  it was very funny.  we stayed at the Tokyo Prince Hotel.  That night, we walked a couple blocks to the Tokyo Tower.  It looks a lot like the Eiffel Tower, but it's taller.  Haha French people, the Japanese are cooler than you!  Anyway, while in the Tokyo tower, we had a bit of a dispute over where we should eat... I wanted curry, other people wanted to go to other places... we finally decided that the group we were in was too large and we split up and I got ramen.  my first legit ramen, it was so goood!!!  But, I need to tell you about ordering the ramen.  Instead of straight up ordering it at the counter or with a waiter/waitress, there's a machine, like a vending machine.  And you pay and push the button of the meal that you want and the machine gives you a ticket.  Then you wait for your number to be called and get the food.  That was fun, and very confusing at first... haha.

But the food wasn't even the best part of that night.  We walked around, and looked at random shizzits (btw, shizzits, along with other words and phrases, became big during the tour), but most of the place was closed because it was pretty late at night.  But there were a bunch of school girls and boys walking around in their G uniforms.  (Sadly, I never found a place to buy one... but I got other clothes that I'll tell you about later.)  My friend Simon just asked to take pictures with the school kids and all of them said "hai" haha.  It was great!  Simon (aka, Simon dad degga of the Black Caucus... don't ask, we had nicknames)  took so many pics with them.  That's one great thing about Japan...  very few people in America would take pics with a random foreigner tourist.  They might take pics for, but rarely with.  It was great!  I got in on a few.  and we got some snacks then we went back to the hotel and slept.
