Welcome back. Last week I was captured by a girl I already blogged about after the blog on Ritz of the Blue Lion. Thankfully she has the last two Lions, which is too convenient but watch me care.

Well, yeah. But between Rebellion, the mangas, the card game, other games, and more new info a lot of stuff has changed and makes this blog worth it. Plus my tastes also changed slightly, as well as my blogging style.

Head

Hair
Homura has black hair. It might be drawn as black grey at times, but is black. It’s also long enough to go past her waist, but this is not a pervy show so it looks good. Sadly despite resembling one it can’t qualify as a hime cut as she has normal bangs. She luckily has the long side-bangs so go that. Of course, I must mention Homura had beautiful dual braids in the past, sadly she got rid of them and her glasses so boo. At least Rebellion brings them back, briefly. The official card game adds more hair styles like ponytail, twintails, and a single braid. It’s all nice. Of course Homura’s hairband is important too! She wears a cute black hairband, but at the end of the series she replaces it with Madoka’s red hair ribbon which is also great. As Domura she dons a different red hairband with a red bow on the side, which is cute. The card game has more cute hairbands and other decorations and styles for her too. Sucks the lame bangs are the only reason poor Homura is not getting a perfect score here. Also GO HAIR FLIP.
Grade: A

Eyes
Homura has purple eyes. I goofed up in my old blog and said they were blue, but nope for that is Sayaka and looking at them together is clear their eye color is different. At least some pics and fanart do make them blue-ish, but overall they’re purple. And as purple is one of my favorite eye colors this helps. Even better, as Domura she gets at times RED eyes! And even when not red the purple-ness is much clearer. That aside the shape is tareme-ish, but this is hard to tell as Homura half-closes her eyes all the damn time. This is a good thing, of course, except when it comes to telling the shape of her eyes. More notably, Homura in the past wore THICK, RED GLASSES! The best kind of glasses, for me at least, and of course she looked amazing with them. She needs them back but her eyes are still lovely.

No, they are not! Girls look better in glasses! It’s just unfair they’re the minority, yet when one appears people are all “I wanna see her without glasses” because. For that logic people should’ve said “I wanna see her flat” about Mami, but if anything all people did was ruin the other girls.

Body

Build
Homura has a pretty nice middle school “loli” body. Her official height, sort of, is given as about 155-159 cm. That puts her from just barely in my ideal range to barely above said range, but not too bad. She lacks other measurements, but it’s clear she is a cute lithe girl. Her bust is fairly often flat, tho some pics screw up a bit. Even then she is nowhere as terrible as Mami and her mammies. The rest of her body is pretty good at least, with a slender stomach, cute feet, and occasionally very nice legs. This is good so far, but what gets Homura her generous score is her Domura transformation! Her black and white wings are nice, even if they look like she wanted to be a RPG final boss or something, but the real star here is her GIANTESS SCENE! Giantesses are love, so seeing one of my favorite girls become one sent my heart aflutter. As a silly extra the games revealed the Witch form of Homura: Homulilly. It basically looks like the love child of Mismagius and Darkrai. On crack.

Build

Butt
Homura’s butt is not amazing, but not terrible. She shows it in a few official pics, with one giving her sexy wide hips for no reason. However, she has two factors that help with this. One is the DVD release of the TV anime uncensors her bare ass from the finale, which is very much welcome. The DVD release of the second movie does not which proves shows > movies. The second factor is the third movie took offense to the statement in my previous sentence and had Homura and Madoka bump butts as some weird salute of sorts. Kinda like a high-five but more of a “high-two” sorta. While random it was nice and welcome, which boosts her score to more decent levels.
Grade: C+

Well, that’s not quite it. I just want more support for asses. Female asses. Sad I have to clarify that...

Sorry, just getting tired of people who think posting male butts or praising male butts when the situation calls for female ones is funny when is just gross. That’s another instance of chest bias, you never see fat dude chest get shown when talking chest matters despite being the same thing.

: That manga Topaz likes had the dude praise a sumo guy’s chest once.

You mean the same manga that gave the ideal butt to a guy while no other part ever showed up in a guy and made the breasts girl the second most important female tho luckily a fine character otherwise?

Of course I do! It’s not breasts > butts, is that for most series is breasts > dirt > butts or even worse. Just look at Senran Kagura having LESS butt focus on each passing game while expanding the chest nonsense.

Clothes
Homura’s wardrobe is great. The school uniform is kinda weak-looking with a yellow blouse and a pleated black and grey miniskirt, but it has two saving graces. One is the red bowtie, as it looks cute. The second is she wears PANTYHOSE, and that makes everything better. She didn’t wear it in the past, because after the glasses and braids removal she had to do positive changes too. Homura likes pantyhose so much she is also wearing it in her magical girl clothes, but now with more argyle. Sadly these are overall her worst costume otherwise, since it just looks like a fancy B/W sailor uniform and that is something anime has already plenty of. The black undershirt is nice. Aside of these two in the series proper she also wears the gym uniform; it has buruma and is thus cool by default. Blue buruma, but hey. With the movies she gets her Domura costume that looks like Snow Black’s black dress with gloves and argyle thighhighs, looks so sexy. Official art adds multiple swimsuits both one-pieces and bikini, casual clothes perhaps for variety, archery club uniform for kimono appeal, cute pajamas, purple yukata, light blue yukata, a fancier yellow and purple kimono, cheerleader, maid costume, white dress, a cute white coat for winter, and a red fancy kimono. Plus the official card game throws in more casual costumes, gothloli dress, lab coat for Kurisu jokes, Hinamatsuri-inspired fancy red kimono, another pink one, a beautiful wedding dress, kitty costume for Moemura, miko, and who knows if others. Overall Homura sports one of the best collections of costumes for my tastes, which I approve of. Of course a sukumizu and naked apron wouldn’t hurt, but otherwise she is amazing.

Mind

Personality
Homura first appears on main heroine Madoka’s dream, only to later show up in school as her new classmate and mysterious transfer student. She warns Madoka to stay away from QB, but since Madoka hadn’t seen the show yet she couldn’t know QB meant no good and saved the thing. Even then Homura told Madoka not to make a contract, as clearly magical girls are a pyramid scheme since magical girls always cause more to join. Homura was nice enough to save Madoka’s bacon from Charlotte of the French crossdressing. Wait, wrong seasonal Charlotte. Mami still died, her fault for being into yuri bondage. Homura kept going “I told you so” like Sheldon and being ignored. Even when she finally got to turn QB into cottage cheese another one respawned. After much pussyfooting around we found out Homura’s past: She used to be shy and wear lovely glasses, but shit hit the fan and she became a magical girl to save Madoka via endless recursion of time. She kept on failing and here we are. Homura’s other goal was to defeat the strongest witch, known as Walpurgis Time. She kept on failing, too. That luckily was solved by Madoka wishing the world different because time loops for some contrived reason made her stronger. Kyon-kun, denwa. And now Homura was the only one to remember the old world, but much like Superboy-Prime she kept punching the walls of reality until she created an alternate continuity called “movies” where this plotline continues. Apparently there QB is still a jerk, big surprise, and trapped poor unlucky Homura as a witch as bait for Madoka. A witch is a magical girl gone wrong case someone never saw the show and is reading this for some insane reason. Anyway the trap also locked Homura and the gang in some wacky reality where they were merry and ate cake. Homura broke out of it by realizing this fact and long short story her body was saved too. But QB got Madoka to show up in her Ultimate super-strong self and nearly seized her, which Homura stopped by becoming sexy as hell. I mean, she did achieve this becoming evil by accepting she was gay for Madoka so go progressive attitude. Being evil meant she became a demon stronger than Madoka or something strange like that. She is called Demon Homura in Danbooru at least. Homura at least achieved her dream of a world where Madoka had a happy life. But she may not really become friends with Homura there, as she does random evil things just because. Welp.

Homura is very devoted to Madoka, no matter what. Her actions are guided solely for the same of helping her best friend and giving her a happy life. At first she was a shy introverted girl, but in order to save Madoka she took a more kuudere personality as proof of determination. As a result she tends to come as rather callous with everyone except Madoka. She’s not as much as callous as jaded, seeing as how in one timeline things ended with Homura killing Madoka so she wouldn’t become a witch and bring forth destruction. With all the crap she gets it’s hard not to feel sorry for her. She turns quite different in Rebellion, not just because we see her more of moe shy introvert side again but also because of her “Domura” or Demon Homura that is somewhat sadistic as well as a little crazy. Regardless, her aggressive personality is very arousing. Mentioned how Homura is a magical girl but not her powers, so I’ll explain she can travel through time. Not freely tho, she can only go back to a specific time with her memories and items intact. So New Game + sort of. Since she lacks offensive skills she uses guns instead. Lots and lots of guns. And explosives, gotta love grenade > witch. The epic maneuver she pulls on Walpurgis or “Pytha-Homu Switch” is quite memorable. Case someone wonders she keeps all these things in her shield. Luckily she’s not like Shiryuu and his unbreakable shield that breaks all the time. Her shield is more like the ludicrous but effective 4th Dimension Pocket from Doraemon, as she can store anything in it to use it later. Like Villager! All in all her powers are cool and different from standard magical girls, which I like. She also gets almighty as Demon Homura I take. The conclusion to this is Homura has pretty much everything I like in a girl short of incestuous feelings and the like, but close enough to love her very much still.
Grade: A+

Libido
Homura originally scored decently on this because of her Madokasexual antics. She has vastly improved now, first because I appreciate her devotion much more now and also because of her VERY sexy dommy side in Rebellion. I know that scene is considered conflictive and yadda yadda, but who cares, make more of my girls into sadists as that never hurts. Between this and Nadeko SHAFT has been very generous with my love of dommy girls, go them for that.

Age
Homura is 14 years old, just right for my tastes in 2D girls. She also maybe becomes some sort of super-powerful being that probably doesn’t age. That’s always nice.

Voice
Chiwa Saitou has grown on me since the original Homura blog. It helps Homura uses multiple voices for her shy, quiet, and dommy sides which I quite enjoy. While this lacks any score impact Homura is one of the few girls I have blogged on that I saw speak Spanish as I did watch our Madoka Magica dub, figures.
