: Welcome back, viewers! As you might know from the past few weeks we've been coming to you live from the national sectional regional Gunpla tournament!

*Crowd cheers.*

: However, what Topaz didn't know is that the tournament was set up by Kirara, famed gunpla idol and Right Bishop of the Chessmasters. The Chessmasters, of course, are this year's villains it seems and have been attacking Topaz here and there since the beginning of the year or so.

: Heh! We've been going after Topaz for YEARS!

Wait, what?

: Oh? No one has told you? Girls like Chinatsu or Kanon were after you from our group as well.

Oh yeah, I think Sumire told us about that earlier.

: What? You mean that this reveal was useless? And I can't reveal anything else about other Chessmasters either!

I'm sure that my reader knows at least one more that's coming...

: You and your dumb spoilers then! Oh well, this will be your last blog anyway. It won't matter if your readers know or not!

: AHEM, Since I was so rudely interrupted I'll describe the final battle. Topaz managed to beat Misaki's Hikaru Gundam and, last week, defeated Shia when his Wisconsin Gundam turned into the Talonflame Gundam. This week he's currently facing Kirara with her Big Zam!

Oh hey, Big Zam!

: That's right, and unlike the battle in the original Gundam this one won't be rushed!

: Watch out for Stardust attacks, Topaz! *Slurps shake.*

I think that's the wrong Kirara, Riri. And she's not a clumsy space police officer either!

: All these shows you watch are confusing...

: Mmm phmmph mpph!

*Shion can't speak properly due to dual wielding and eating burgers.*

: Swallow before you talk.

: *Gulp* I said "Beat those Cell Legs, Topaz!"

: Yeah! Beat them!

: Mwahaha! You can either choose to defeat me, or start your silly blog!

Well, since you're giving permission...



: I'm not surprised you have an image of me without my twintails, you hater of great things!

: Honestly I'm surprised he didn't pick a "Mihoshi" version, especially with how she looks in TRY...

There's no ulterior motive for that image. I blame Gundam being really bad as far as official art goes. Or at least it doesn't have the cute girls in any magazine.

: Mwahaha! Now that you're distracted talking about the blog I'll be able to step on your damaged Gundam easily!

*Big Zam raises its leg, about to crush the Talonflame Gundam. However, the Gundam Portent comes out of nowhere and uses its Particle Transformation Field to defend Topaz.*

: Don't forget, I'm still here!

: But You were defeated just a minute or so!

: My Karels can do a lot with health in a little bit of time!

: Well, in 6 he DOES have a 210% growth rate...

: Yeah, but his stats in 7 is only a third of that.

: Wait, did you get a reference?

: Of course! I looked up a few things online so you won't feel like you weren't fitting in!

: Thanks, you and Katja are both great friends... N-not that I have a need for such things, but-

: Don't worry, I understand.

: Now that the touching family moment is over, it seems that your shield is cracking! You shouldn't have betrayed me, Shia!

: Who said I was the only one?

*Suddenly Hikaru comes out of nowhere and strikes Big Zam's back.*

: I've joined as well!

: There must be some type of rule against this!

: I've looked over the rules intensively. Much like the rules in G Gundam the contestants may repair their fighter and enter at any time!

What? That sounds unfair!

: Of course, it was my last plan. If you had lost at any time I'd force you to stop blogging, but I would have endless attempts!

: That's cheating!

: I can't believe how unfair this tournament is...

: Kira~ The only thing, by the rules, that can stop me is if you manage to beat me with a certain Mobile Pod. Of course, you'll never be able to beat my beam-reflecting Big Zam with such a wimpy gunpla even if you HAD it. I'll never be beaten!

: We'll see about that!

: Right! We'll take care of Big Zam! You can do the blog in the meantime!

: This should be an easy battle, I have the size advantage!

: Your Mobile Armor may be strong, but we're both speed-based. You'll never catch us!

*Gundam Portent and Hikaru spin around Big Zam, and the slow creeping biped can't keep up due to how slow it turns. They don't do too much, but the distraction is enough for Topaz.*

Alright then, let's get to the blog!

Head
Hair: Hair is the main difference between Mihoshi and Kirara's two forms. As we see Mihoshi first, I'll describe that first. Her hair is a hip-length ponytail with a holder at the bottom. Her hair is a dark blue which looks nice, and she even has a pink-and-white hat that looks poofy somewhat. As Kirara her hair is about the same length but is in zig-zag twintails, trailing down from the sides of her head, instead. She also has star-shaped holders at the base of her twintails. As Kirara her hair is pink, but I'm not sure if she uses a wig in one of her forms or not. Considering her pink hair and star-shaped hair decorations it's possible that she was based off Meer from Gundam SEED. In addition, both Mihoshi and Kirara have a sort-of hime cut. Kirara also has another style, seen in her image above, that's more reserved and looks really nice. Her hair is down and flowing, but it does show the ears unlike most of her hair styles. Finally we have the future version we see a bit of in TRY. Sadly she gets rid of her hime cut for normal-looking bangs, but her hair is a dark blue or purple which is beautiful. She also has a star decoration more like Meer, and her hair is down as well. Her ears are showing, but even then part of her sides goes down to her chest. Overall it's pretty nice, if you ignore the pink twintails. Oh, and for a joke in the specials her hair may have bones in it, but I'm guessing that was just to be silly xD.
Grade: B

Eyes: Both Kirara and Mihoshi have the same color of eyes, being a blue/purple color. I will say that Mihoshi has better eyes as they seem to be half-closed, which is really great. Kirara also has more eyelashes, or at least it would seem that way from make-up. In her great version above (the one with her hair down) she does seem to have emphasized eyebrows for some reason. Otherwise there's not much more to talk about, though it is unfortunate that she didn't wear glasses in her disguise.
Grade: B

Face: Since there really isn't much that Kirara could do to change her shape I'll just refer to her from now on. Anyway, she has an acorn-shaped face that is similar to Rinko's. Both in basic shape and looking sort of like her in general. Kirara also has a fairly notable nose, which is a downside, but the rest of her face looks great. While not a big thing do notice that she has freckles as Mihoshi as well. Also her face ages well after the time skip, or at least I think it did.
Grade: B+

==Meanwhile==

*Gundam Portent and Hikaru continue to rotate around Big Zam.*

: MWAHAHA! Do you think I won't get tired of spinning? Large Mega Particle Gun!

: Wow, what a mouthful attack. Think you can add "Super Secret Awesome" somewhere?

*Big Zam shoots the main weapon out of the center. Luckily it fired away from the Talonflame Gundam, and completely misses the two other Gundams.*

: WHAT?

: Fufufu, do you really think I don't know Big Zam's main weapons and weaknesses?

*Shia leaps above, avoiding the machine gun fire and kicks the top of the Mobile Armor. It doesn't do much damage.*

: Do you really think that such a PUNY Gunpla could ever HOPE to damage mine?

: No, but I can DISTRACT YOU! NOW!

: Hikaru! LARGE MEGA PARTICLE GUN!

*Hikaru centers a large amount of force and fires it at Big Zam. She hits it and blows up the center gun.*

: My Particle Gun! Do you know how long I had to put that together? All the cutting... I had to get it PERFECT!

: Great job, Misaki!

: Thanks for that... But I think that Hikaru can't perform another attack like that. Her energy is nearly drained...

: Don't worry.. I have a plan!

Body
Build: Kirara is of a fairly average build. Sadly unlike Rinko she doesn't have a bikini episode so I can't judge her butt or anything. Her hips DID look pretty nice in TRY, as did her thigh as she's wearing a dress with a cut up the side. Other than that we can only guess that she has a slim waist and she does wiggle her butt a bit but she's wearing a coat so we didn't get a good look (nor is it exactly that great of a shot). As a silly joke someone may have touched her butt in combat in the specials too, but she was a chibi at the time. I can't tell how official it is, but her height seems to be 171 cm which is pretty tall! Though her main love interest, Ricardo Fellini, is 190 cm so she's quite a bit shorter than him. I much do “prefer” her being with Sei as he's shorter, but I'll discuss that more under libido (he doesn't have an official-ish height, but he's about half a head shorter).
Grade: B-

Breasts: While Kirara won't be beating Rinko do note that she's pretty busty. She's likely the second-bustiest girl, I imagine. She shows a tiny bit of cleavage in her idol outfit, and she has a nice shirt curve, but otherwise her chest isn't emphasized too much. Like usual, fanart may differ though.
Grade: B

Clothes: This is about the only remaining difference between Mihoshi and Kirara. Again we see Mihoshi and she's wearing a purple trench coat-like outfit. It shows her curve, but covers her from the neck (including a collar) to about her wrists on her arms and her ankles. Sadly we don't know what she's wearing underneath (or if she IS wearing anything under it) though looking at her feet shows she may be wearing pantyhose with heels. Kirara has two outfits, the main one being her idol outfit. She has white gloves with frills, a frilly collar, a tube top which could use some support (it has frills), she shows her stomach and on bottom she has a skirt (with frills) with an open front showing shorts, and white thighhighs with, what else, frills. There's also a star on her stomach and two more on the right side of her skirt. For a formal occasion she wears a red Chinese dress-looking dress which looks really nice on her. She also has a pendant with it and long gloves that go up to her forearm. Finally, in TRY she wears a black/dark blue regal dress with a sheer front (not entirely sheer, and you can't see through it, but I don't know how to describe it better) and a cut down her leg. She also has a boa as in the feathery kind and not the snake, and long gloves. Overall it's pretty nice, but it would have been better had she shown some more of her body (not that the elegant look doesn't suit her).

==Meanwhile==

: Looks like everyone is getting their money's worth! Then again, they paid for the whole seat but no doubt everyone is on the EDGE!

: PFFT! As if just disabling the main cannon was enough! I still have my regular particle guns! MEGA PARTICLE GUNS, no less!

*Big Zam fires around its main circle, but Shia's great dodging skills allow her to dance around the shots.*

: Well well well. I'd say you wouldn't be able to attack the biggest Gundam but considering your Mobile Armor would be almost 60 meters I'd joke that you should stop hitting yourself.

*Shia smirks and continues to evade Big Zam's shots. However, while Kirara is distracted she doesn't notice the Talonflame Gundam slowly walking up from underneath...*

Mind
Personality: Kirara wasn't too interested in Gundam, but her agency forced her to become a Gundam idol. As a result she had to watch the ENTIRE franchise from start to finish, and considering it was night she might not have been able to sleep either. That's a lot of episodes to get through, no offense to the series as it's great, but it's understandable that she came to dislike Gundam. Luckily as the series progresses she becomes a lot more accepting of it thanks to battling. She also starts out being a poor sport, actively seducing Sei to tamper with his Gunpla but luckily she stops that. She even starts to care for her former enemies, especially with Ricardo (again I'll discuss that more later). As the series goes on, namely in TRY, she stops using Gundam as a crutch for her popularity and goes back to being Mihoshi.
Kirara's Gundam, the Gerbera Tetra, was built by fans. It's also pink, for some reason. She is shown to be a mid ranged combatant, choosing to use her custom Gerbera Tetra's machine cannons rather than fighting at close range. She also participates in the final battle, defending the entrance while the main characters enter the fortress.
Grade: B-

Libido: Kirara may or may not have tried to seduce Sei, the lead, to tamper with his Gundam (as said previously). Not that I'd consider them a good couple, but Sei did greatly admire her up until she caused trouble. A much more likely partner for Kirara is Ricardo. Although she's annoyed by Ricardo at times, they probably have a good relationship. She keeps him from womanizing too much and seemed to care quite a bit during his battle with Sei and Reji and attacks another character for bad mouthing Ricardo.
Grade: B

Age: Originally I gave Kirara a good score here on the basis that, since she drinks in the series, she's at least over 20. However, it seems that the Japanese Pixivpedia states that her age is 27. I'm not sure if this is before the time skip or not (if it's after I would be accurate considering it was a 7-year skip) but either way that's a GREAT age. I'll also add that Sei is only THIRTEEN and she tries to seduce him, that's wonderful <3. Even Ricardo is younger as his page states that he's 24, so I approve of their relationship in that way too.

*Big Zam stops trying to follow the smaller Gundams and instead just shoots Air-to-Air Missiles. Unfortunately the rings they were circling were too wide, and even Shia fell prey to not being close enough. The array is insane and the Portent and Hikaru are unable to evade.*

: GAAAH!

: EEEEKS!

*The two become unable to fight. Even Shia's Karels are useless, but at least Misaki is unharmed.*

: Now, all that all the riffraff have been taken care of... Wait, where's Topaz?

RIGHT HERE!

*The Talonflame Gundam charges up while between Big Zam's legs.*

: WHAT! The one place I don't have guns! If only the Big Zam were mass-produced!!

That's right, and take this you effective special tank! Brave BIIIRRRDDD!!

*The Talonflame Gundam becomes a phoenix once again and shoots directly upward, going through Big Zam and causing it to explode.*

ALRIGHT!

: I knew that plan would work!

: Well then, I guess the winner of the tournament is...
