Anime and Manga Shopping Blog: Week #25 Not Enough Cute Girls?
Anime Relations:
One Piece
Girls, girls, girls. Man these girls are the anime industry's bread and butter. Haruhi, Kanade Tachibana, Taiga, Shana, Squid Girl, I can't ever stop. What does this have to do with this week's blog? A good bit I guess, I mean I had other blogs that featured more girls than this one most likely, but let's just say I had NO IDEA hat to name this week's blog. Anyways let's do this.
ANIME: One, but let's say you only need the one.
Up front this week, I got more adventure for my buck, One Piece Collection 8, released by Funimation.

Sigh... The Skypiea arc is really killing my interested in the series you know. Sigh... However, I'm going to press on and watch all of it! Fortunately the arc ends here, and continues with a damn filler arc... Smooth sailings indeed...
As for the product itself, while it was exactly like the others (Thanks for the consistency Funi), I still had my share of problems. The dvd set looks like to had been hit by something, no internal damage thankfully. But damage wasn't something I thought was going to pop out, instead I got dvds falling out of the case (Learn to put in your discs more properly Funi). Other than that, $24.99 wasn't much of a dent into my wallet.
Do I Recommend It? One Piece fans go ahead and take a bite, but look at what you get before you sink your teeth into it.

MANGA: Unlike anime, I got plenty of reading material from Kodansha comics, Yen Press, and Seven Seas manga.
HERP DERP, Air Gear volume 25, released by Kodansha Comics.

THIZ ZERIEZ IZ ZTOOPID, IMMA INZULT IT TO DEAATH HEE HEE. But enough mockery, this is your standard manga release with nothing special other than what's inside for $10.99, and I'm not using special in a derogatory way, honest LOL.

Next up is some more fail, well not as bad as the two above or at least not yet, Bunny Drop volume 6.

This volume serves as the calm before the storm...

Sigh... Enough fail already let's actually talk about something good for once! Genshiken Omnibus 2, released by Kodansha Comics.

Oh yeah, I totally forget to say something real quick, my first anime convention reminded me of one of the ones I saw in this manga. Jam packed and crowded, but totally awesome when you get to the good stuff. And this manga is something I'd recommend to any anime fan that has been to conventions. As for the product itself, it's the usual manga volume quality that you would expect, except that it's three times the page length, and $19.99 is a good price for something that would've cost more separately (Though it's much cheaper online).

And finally more of everyone's favorite tsundere, well one of everyone's favorite I mean, Toradora volume 5, released by Seven Seas Manga.

Personally I like Minorin more than Taiga... Huh, what? I mean- fuck...
A-Anyways!!! This one volume that strangely you can not judge by the size. It appears to be thin and frail, but it actually contain 12 chapters, and it's even taking me a while to get a dent into it. Even with it's $11.99 price, this is a pretty decent deal that you can definitely get behind on if you're a fan of the series.
OVERALL: Not a bad week, but not a good one either. Content wise it's 50/50.
C+ For this week.
Steins;Gate, where the hell are you??? I want my sci fi anime fix!
