I have been waiting for this adorable game for quite some time (not that I have a PS3 to play it on). I mean, level creation, adorable avatars, online play? What's not to love, right?

It was delayed until next week (MAYBE) because of 2 verses from the Koran being background music. Muslims complained, and now Sony has to RECALL every single copy, remove the music, and then re-ship it. I don't even want to imagine how much money that is going to cost, but you can bet it won't be cheap for them. Not just them, either, all the individuals who either pre-ordered a copy or who had their stores stocked with it will have to pay shipping to have it be recalled. LAME.

This is ridiculous already. I understand the religion, and that its a holy text, but still.... I mean, this isn't the first case of this sort of thing (although this is the first I've heard about it from a game). I believe there was going to be a show about the Prophet Muhammad (correct spelling?) that was to air last year, and the station got several bomb threats (albeit, this is a much more heinous offense).

No other organized religion acts this way. Seriously, I understand your devotion, but its time to adjust to the modern world.

Not the first time something like this has happened. In the 90's Nike had to recall and later scrap a flame logo because it looked like Koran script. When will it end?

I don't think it was a group of Muslims. From what I read, it was just 1 dude, Nsider from NeoGaf forums, who got the game early. Asshole gets to play the game while the rest of us have to wait. Instead of shutting up, he decided to post an apology too. Apology not accepted.

Now a lot of retailers are showing a release date of 11/11-11/14. Dude is an asshole.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
