Instead of putting all those shitty episode summaries into one entry, these assholes decide to create an entry for each episode and release them one after the other. I would be more forgiving if the entries contained pictures or more than one paragraph, but most is not. They usually contain a couple of sentences describing some bullshit connection between the episode and the writing of a literary master. It might even include a sentence about how they felt while watching.

Since MAL only shows recent entries, it's annoying when one person blog entries covers 8 of the 16 entries. It's a waste of goddamn space. It pushes other users' entries out and once that happens, it might as well have been sucked into a black hole because you'll never see it again.

FUCK! I'm going back to playing more Dead Space.

the end

TOKYO, Japan -- Over a hundred people attended a candlelight vigil held in rememberance for a beloved character from the popular TV anime, Code Geass. The vigil took place outside of Sunrise Inc. headquarters after being organized by 3 people from the popular Internet forum, 2ch.

The meeting became violent after several Sunrise's employees taunted the bereaved gathering.

"It was peaceful until these jerks came out and started shouting at us. They would shout 'show me your rage' and laugh extremely loud. I remember one of them shouting for us to wait and watch what happens to Kallen next week," Kazuhiko Kawaragi, an attendee, said.

The crowd then began to throw rocks and bottles at the employees. Police were called and arrived at the scene to quell the mob. Over twenty people were taken into police custody.

The Sunrise's employees managed to escape with only minor scrapes and bruises.

Sunrise Inc. spokesperson, Shiho Ishida, issued an apology on behalf of the company for the conduct of their employees. Ishida, however, also went on to express disappointment from fans' conduct at the vigil.

Various Internet forums exploded with activity upon hearing about one of the employees' comment about Kallen, another popular character from Code Geass.

Several Sunrise's employees have reported that they received threatening comments and emails. These emails were similar in that they all threatened that 'something' might happen if something were to happen to Kallen.

TOKYO, Japan -- A girl went missing on Friday apparently from jumping and disappearing into 'thin-air' in Takeshita-dōri, a police officer said. Takeshita-dōri is popular shop in the Harajuku district among pre-teens for their Hello Kitty's memorabilia.

The girl vanished around 1:00 p.m., according to various eyewitnesses' accounts. All that was left behind was a pair of panties. Police were, however, unable to find the panties after eyewitnesses report that a man picked it up and ran.

"I was watching her look at some Hello Kitty's stickers when she jumped and disappeared. I then saw a pair of pink panties float to the ground, it was definitely her panties. 'Disappeared' as in poof! You know Hiro from Heroes, it's kinda like that. I thought I was daydreaming at first," Yui Fukuyama, an employee of Takeshita-dōri, said.

A detailed description of the girl was provided by Jun Sugita, one of the eyewitnesses.

"The girl had short hair and was definitely Japanese. She was wearing white collared shirt and a blue mini-skirt. Now that I think about it, she was really cute. I wouldn't mind going out with her," Sugita grinned. "If she appears again, I want to ask her out."

Tomokazu Miyano, a professor at the University of Tokyo, responded that it wasn't possible for someone to just disappear after hearing about the incident.

Police are baffled as to whether to take the disappearance seriously since no missing person report has been filed.

UPDATE: The girl appeared again at Takeshita-dōri. When police arrived at scene, she was seen crying and gripping her right arm. After receiving an alert from his friend, Jun Sugita rushed to the shop and asked the girl out. He was quickly taken into police custody.

The girl was rushed to the hospital. The girl's name is still unknown.

TOKYO, Japan -- 40-year-old Chitose Wakatsuki made his first public appearance in front of Ishimaru Denki of Akihabara earlier today. Wakatsuki is a well-known person on the popular BBS, 2ch, for creating a stir with his anti-censorship statements.

Wakatsuki, dressed in a bright-green octopus suit complete with dangling tentacles, would perform simulated sexual acts on a blow-up doll to draw attention upon himself until a large crowd gathered.

"People should be able to look at their octopus porn without some silly mosaic covering up the good stuff," Wakatsuki yelled. Upon hearing this, the crowd erupted into enthusiastic cheers. One female went as far as proposing marriage to him.

He went on to describe how censorship completely destroyed his marriage.

"I can't get 'off' while watching the mosaic. It's so ingrained into my mind that when I'm having actual sex, I'm seeing a mosaic over my wife's dumpster. It has gotten to the point where she would always look at me in disgust," he said.

Yamada Tarō, a famous porn director, joined Wakatsuki at the front. Tarō is known for directing numerous live-action octopus 'documentaries.'

"Octopuses are amazing creatures especially when you get nude females near them. This is a work of art. I'm trying to make a statement and Article 175 of the Criminal Code is holding me back. It's holding all artists back! I mean we can see breasts but no hole, that's a load of bull," Tarō stated.

Wakatsuki went on to challenged the Japan's Prime Minister, Yasou Himari, to a match in Virtua Fighters. "If I win, no more censorship! If I lose, don't think this will be the last time you will see me," Wakatsuki yelled especially loud into a woman's ear.

As of yet, the Prime Minister has not issued a statement.

This is just something to get people interested in creating their own WPS. If you do not know what Rockbox is, Wikipedia is your friend.

I must say that I have always been interested in anything that had to do with customization. So when I realize that Rockbox allowed me to do some cool things, I had to create my own WPS. Of course, I'm a lazy asshole so I had to force myself to start the project. Thankfully, I got inspired by looking at the Rockbox WPS gallery.

Before we begin, I would like to say that I'm beginner at this. The objective of this project was to create a minimalistic WPS so I could see only the things I needed without clutter, I'm a firm believer in simplicity. I also didn't want my eyes to burst out of its socket when I was messing with my iPod in the dark.

Things you should know:

  • iPod Video has a 320x240 screen
  • images must be saved as BMP
  • backdrop = wallpaper or background whatever you wanna call it
  • we'll be using notepad for everything
  • may cause headaches
  • this is not meant to be a step-by-step guide, you'll have to do some learning on your own
  • because the feeling of satisfication is much higher when you learn to do it yourself

THE BEGINNING

These 2 pictures are of my iPod, the second one being the WPS.

This picture will show the tags that I used to create my WPS. Tags are codes which allows users to display whatever they would like on the screen. Tags always begin with "%"

Breakdown of tags used:

THE MIDDLE

WPS
Here's what my WPS file looks like.

It looks exactly like that. You have to notice the spaces and they are there for a reason. The spaces helps to position the texts and progress bar exactly where I want it to appear on the screen. Took me a while to figure that out. Once you are done with the tags, make sure you save it with a ".wps" at the end.

->my computer
-->your iPod
--->.rockbox
---->wps folder
----->place your WPS file in there...
------>create a folder with the same name as your WPS file
------->drop in the background that you'll be displaying

THEME
Now we will have to move onto the CFG file. It should look something more or less like this:

Make sure to save it with a ".cfg" at the end.

->my computer
-->your iPod
--->.rockbox
---->theme folder
----->place your CFG file here.

THE END
You could also download the rockbox simulator so you don't have to plug in your iPod everytime to test your theme out. You can find it here. Like I said earlier, this was not meant to be a step-by-step guide. Having a step-by-step guide takes the fun out it. The tags I listed here is just a few of many. The full tag list could be found here. It really takes some experimentation before getting things done. It does look confusing especially if you take a look at other people's WPS, but it's not that hard. It's almost impossible to keep the tags clean when you continually add more things to the WPS.

FINAL WORD
I'm currently beginning to work on an ARIA theme and it will be much more complicated than this current one. It'll probably take me a couple of weeks. When I finish it, I'll post it up for everyone to download. Assuming you are using Rockbox that is. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to PM me. I'll try my best to answer them but I'm a beginner myself. I typed this up rather quick so if there are any grammatical errors, I'm sorry. Tell me what you think about it. Thanks!

A more detail guide might be coming up while working on my Aria theme.
