- Gintama makes quite some Doraemon allusions and parodies. There are obvious ones and less obvious ones - While the vast majority of Doraemon episodes consist of very short gag stories, there are occasionally also ones, which fall out of the usual typical-traditional-Doraemon formula. These are sometimes itself parodies, absolutely totally absurdly over the top, have Sci-Fi, Fantasy and occasionally even Adventure and Action elements and more than just once a quite touching part to it, just as many Gintama episodes have as well.

Both are long running episodical tv series with hundreds of episodes about a boy and their robot companion. If you enjoy anime for children, you will likely enjoy these.

Keroro is another long running television series which offers, more of less, what Doraemon does. Character devises a plan/Gets a new gadget to play with -> Character messes up -> Karma -> Rinse and repeat. Keroro does change its formula every once in a while and offers a much more serious narrative. The stakes are higher (in some cases) in Keroro, while Doraemon plays its cards much safer.

There are many elements that make both series comparable. Structurally these two anime don't follow much of an overarching plot and most of the episodes revolve around the MC fiddling with aliens and their technology (Lum) or future gadgets (Doraemon) and most of the time ending with unfavorable results since they're both so alike and unlucky. It's also worth noting that the two MCs also have a bad reputation in their respective series and no one places much hope in neither of them. You can feel a bit of an evolution of Ataru's love feelings in Urusei Yatsura while in Nobita's case he's always back and  read more

Fantasy comedies when central element is a door that functions as a device through which the cast travels to different worlds.

Episodical adventures about a boy and his curious companion who suddenly appeared in the boy's life and helpf the protagonists in various ways. Both are long running shows for kids based on works by Fujiko F. Fujio.

Comedy series aimed at kids about a protagonist with an unusual companion who helps the protagonist. In Doraemon it's a robotic cat with various inventions and in Ninja Hattori-kun it's a ninja with various ninja techniques. Both have similar artstyles as they are based on manga by same author. Also both are remakes of an older series with the same name.

Warau Salesman is basically a dark take on Doraemon. The characters enounter a problem, and a sci-fi/magical gadget is handed out to them that solves their problem. But in Warau Salesman, there is actually a repercussion to face when using the tool impropedly, when falling for your greed. Both are also remakes of classic old shows.
