Essential anime for maid enthusiasts.
They are anime that are more maid-focused rather than just including maids in general.
I have roughly ordered them by how good I think they are maid-wise.

As far as I'm concerned there's an anime about pretty much everything if you look hard enough: diving, underwear design, insurance investigation (yup!) and don't even get me started on cooking. So there, picked titles with main characters directly involved and at least some focus on whatever they're doing for a living or a hobby or both.

Anime that portray characters heavily influenced by words. This could be anything from a librarian, a writer, editor, etc.

As well as characters who have troubles with speech, writing, or using words to express themselves properly.

Some anime listed may be included because the book / words themselves take on a life of their own.

Basically anything related to the subject will be included.
