STORY

Unlike many hentai that has either no story or a terrible story, this one is quite good. Although the story mainly consists of torturing these girls for 4 episodes.

... Just like Space Pirate Sara, it starts off with a pretty good story, then focuses on torturing the girls and then the story resumes in the last episode.

It takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans have fallen, the city is in ruins, and raping demons run the streets. The only way to live is to have some kind of magical powers.

Our heroine Ingrid has magic powers and she’s a very good warrior. Except for one problem, she shares the same weaknesses that many warrior/magic girl faces in hentai: La Blue Girl, Space Pirate Sara, Sexy Sailor Soldiers, Angel Blade, etc…
THESE WOMEN DON’T WEAR ARMOR, they’re always half naked. Her battle suite is basically a thin thong and the top hardly covers her chest. And the fact that her tits are huge doesn’t help. So yes she’s gonna end up getting raped at some point. In fact when you see the way she gets capture in the hentai you’ll reach to the same conclusion as me: ‘if she was wearing armor that wouldn’t have happened’.

CHARACTERS

Villain: Kyriuu.
A pretty good villain. Manipulative, clever, smart,...Kind-of like Loki from Thor and The Avengers.
This rarely happens to me, but I found myself actually siding with the villain for a while. He's just a very cool villain.

Heroine/Main Protagonist: Ingrid the Dark Knight (no relations to batman). She is very similar to Sara from Uchuu Kaizoku Sara (aka Space Pirate Sara), which is not surprising considering they share the same producer Pixy.

Secondary Protagonist: Anti-Demon Ninja Murasaki. Also a great fighter but she has the same weaknesses as Ingrid.

Other protagonist, the badass who saves the day: Black Edwin



ART

First of all its censored.
But the animation does get creative; expect to see Evil Faces, with evil grins etc. Characters are well drawn.
There are also some good camera angles during the sex scenes.

CONCLUSION

Some people might not enjoy this hentai since its 4 episode of two women being tortured. Might have been better if they made the sex scenes shorter and had less episodes.

This hentai was a masterpiece.

Story: 9/10. Ingrid was with Black and then Kiryuu uses the orcs to f**k Ingrid. Good Story.

Art: Full 10/10. AMAZING!!! Ingrid and Murasaki look so sexy when tied up together on the DVD boxes. and the other characters look good too.

Sound: 8/10. Ingrid's moan is so cute. Even Murasaki's too. The sound is very, very good.

Characters: 10/10. Kiryuu = the villain
Ingrid = the main character heroline
... Black-sama = the second hero
Murasaki = the sexy anti-demon ninja
All characters have a great personality.

For Hentai, this has proven itself to be a work of art. It has subtle comedic elements, yet maintains its original purpose, to deliver a sexually stimulating experience for the viewer.

Though the character development itself was lacking, it proves to be no problem, as I am here to nut, not to cry. The sound is pretty decent for its time, and the art is very much an old-anime, retro style.

The story served its purpose, skimmed most of it but I understood the plot.

One memory I will take away from this is when the man came out of a vagina-shaped door after getting his minions ... to slam the living hell out of her, I went into a ferocious fit of laughter, I nearly coughed my lungs themselves out as saliva went down the wrong pipe. Whilst doing all this, I was stroking another pipe of course. Hence, I arrived while laughing.

This was truly amazing, would recommend it.

Ingrid is by far my favorite character from the Taimanin universe so I’m very pleased that Makai Kishi Ingrid was developed and it does not disappoint.

Story - 7
I’ve never been one to think that stories are necessary in hentai’s. However, compared to most, this one does have a relatively good although archetypal story, at least for the Taimanin Franchise. Ingrid and Murasaki are demon hunters that pick a little more than they can chew and get captured by the “bad guys,” who take advantage of the situation. As such, this story allows the two heroines to be raped by demons and turned into sex ... slaves. While the story itself is nothing special, the Taimanin universe is well developed and allows for many other potential stories to be told.

Art - 8
Thr art is a standout enjoyment in this series, with Ingrid and Murasaki’s character designs being simply amazing. They are both full figured and very attractive. Ingrid’s character is designed with a Ganguro appeal or just those that enjoy tanned women (and red hair... which I do). For those that don’t you’re in luck because there’s also Murasaki who has a more “normal” character design to appeal to wider audiences. Beyond these two chatacters, other character designs such as the demons are also good. One thing that isn’t that great is excessive still frames, although this is to be expected in a hentai.

Sound - 8
The sounds produced in this show are great. Sounds of copulations and bodily fluids are great and a big plus in this series. The voice acting for all the characters is well done and believable. Satomi Miwa’s voice acting for Ingrid is perfect and it’s amazing and sad that she has not voice acted for anything else (as far as I’m aware of). The soundtrack is good and appropriate for the various scenes used throughout the show. Background noises aren’t very prominent which does cheapen the series slightly but it isn’t something that should be focused on anyways.

Characters - 8
The only two characters that matter are Ingrid and Murasaki. Both are introduced as girls with a fighting spirit, which quickly withers away as they are taken captive by the antagonist of the series. The character development is good in this sense, in that characters that start out strong willed and willing to fight are transformed into simple minded sex slaves with no will of their own.

Overall this is a very good and enjoyable hentai that contains some great scenes that should not be missed by anyone that enjoys the Taimanin franchise or just a good show.

This is not the "Dark Knight" that I thought I would be reviewing.

The have been monsters secretly appearing all through Tokyo. Our main hero, Hell Knight Ingrid, has revealed the betrayal of the diabolic doctor, Sabato Kuryuu, who has joined the dark group, Kanomado. She finds herself chasing after him, but he has somehow managed to escape and get the drop on her in a church, and soon becomes his captive. Kiryuu tries to break Ingrid's mind and will through torture, in hopes of luring her boss, the vampire Edwin Black, into coming to save her. These torture methods include a group of monsters working ... with Kiryuu, who force themselves onto Ingrid.

This time around, the whole hentai has more of a moody atmosphere going on, resulting in something that is slower paced that takes it's time both with the plot and the sex scenes. Too bad that the series finally got to something watchable on the fourth entry that I happened to review. If you just want to skip the plot and just watch the hentai for it's intended purpose, there are plenty of good sex scenes throughout this hentai.

The character designs are really good, which is par for the course for this series. And to top if all off, the animation is actually pretty decent. So far, it's not only the most watchable in terms of entertainment and quality, it's literally the most watchable in terms of not causing a migraine. I swear that is the last time that I'll mention the aneurysm inducing flashing lights and somehow dodgy camera work of the original. I'm getting just as sick of it as you are at this point.

There is even a 15 minute bonus episode that came out 8 years later called "Makai Kishi Ingrid: Re - Mesu Buta Dorei ni Ochita Makai Kishi". It's pretty much more of the same, so I can't really complain too much.

Would I recommend Makai Kishi Ingrid (AKA The Dark Knight Ingrid)? Yes. It has all of the pros of Taimanin Asagi, with a story that doesn't feel rushed and good character designs, and none of the negatives, and I hate to keep repeating myself here, the eye blistering flashing lights and awful camera effects. At least it's more fun that both Taimanin Asagi 2 and 3. It's the first anime in the franchise that I actually can say that I liked.

Story is for me 7, is decent but is not acc to the original game.

Art 3 POOORRR: diff to other people who need glasees obviusly, the art and specially the design of Ingrid is HORRIBLE, more in the last chapters, the firts 2 caps look ok, but in the ova 3 and 4 the design have a horrible down in quality in many scenes specially the sex scenes.

Sound 7: The Bgs are the best in this works.

Chars 7: The prot and co-prot are ok, they have personality and charm.

Enjoyment 5: Expected more from this hentai, but ZIZ is the cancer of Lilith, the lack ... and poor quality of the char designs and sex scenes is the cause of this puntuation.

Overall 5: Not the best works of ZIZ, compare to Annerose who at last have a decent animation in many senses.

"Karma's a bitch, isn't it, Ingrid?"

Story: Ingrid's master, Edwin Black, sends her on a mission to spectate the interrogation Kiryuu is about to do on Murasaki, who he has just captured. Kiryuu end up being a traitor and as Ingrid gets there and confirm her suspicions, she falls into his trap and is slowly turned into a slave prostitute, along with Murasaki.

Art: I really liked the art and the animation was pretty solid. Ingrid's design is still one of my favorites to this day.

Sound: Very good voices, great sound effects. Soundtrack had a lot of darkish gothic music, fitting the mood. I really liked the ... tune in the opening/intros, too.

Character: Both girls look gorgeous and it was pretty sweet watching them both trying to hold it together while breaking little by little, especially the all serious and powerful Ingrid. I also liked Kiryuu to some extent, and Black is just too badass.

Enjoyment: I liked it more than I was expecting, and the ending felt very badass and satisfying. Still, the 8 minutes long scene with the silent fat fuck in the third episode that felt so cringe and uncomfortable, it made me regret watching this hentai for a hot second. And when they DID make me hyped with the Cerberus, it just didn't happen because apparently morbidly obese men are fine but dogs are a no-no (even though there was bestiality on Taimanin Asagi 2).

Overall: I definitely recommend it and would even go as far as to say it's better than the other entries in the Taimanin franchise, if only I wasn't so biased against fat men.
