This is a compilation of anime series, that are in a way so horrible they are simply not worth your time.

Almost all of them have a very low score on MAL and are well-known for being not worth it (or just bad enough for entertaining purposes).

This is a compilation of the hottest trash anime of Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall 2023, as proclaimed by the Mother's Basement YouTube channel. This is "gaaarbaage" served fresh by "shaaay gaaarbaaage". You'll get the idea if you watch the videos or maybe you can figure it out from the shows stacked here.

I try to pull a few amusing or informative quotes and include the trash rating. The rating system is based on trash receptacles and fire. A dumpster fire is probably considered a five or six on a scale of one to ten, but the system is definitely not rigorous or linear.

There isn't a particular order or implied rank in the presentation but I'll try to keep them listed here in the order they appear.

It's pretty clear "Sousou no Frieren" (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) is the locomotive pulling the hype-train this Fall. "Undead Unluck" has the next most interest, followed by, surprisingly, "Kusuriya no Hitorigoto" (The Apothecary Diaries).

G runs through 24 new and returning shows this season with his usual sarcastic commentary, singling out a few for praise. He didn't have much to say about any other shows. I try to capture the tone of his comments and include chapter markers so you can watch for yourself.

Glass Reflection 583K subs: "I Watched EVERY SINGLE NEW ANIME of the Fall 2023 Season...". To be clear, does not include sequels, new seasons, or returning shows. Based on the first episode or three, the rating system describes whether a show will remain on his watch list, or not. This stack is dedicated to new or simply other works of famous authors that do not fall under spin-offs, alternative timelines or stealth sequels. I will indicate the author and what they are famous for for each included anime, I hope this will help you expand your knowledge about the works of your favorite or interesting authors. I also tried not to include works for which famous authors simply wrote the script for someone else's idea, but if you want, I will include that in the future.
