I just finished watching "Island" not to spoil that anime... there's some underserved review about it that says to be controversial and ecchi but in reality, the series was made on purpose to be confusing and misleading for people to get some deceptive ideas, some of the series on the list has the same features... I mean its needs to be seen until finished to clear the water...there's no way around it... unless the anime was really bad you cant even finish it...is a give or take... you either risk disappointment or missing it out...

if you are too young then maybe avoid it for the ecchi start but I think is an interesting watch... is like the best thing since discovering warm water, at the end in this genre generally...so don't expect the end to be deeply profound and life-changing...

the only anime to avoid if you are too young is Redo of Healer is very explicit in adult content...

this type of anime on the list is meant to be confusing and misleading to create that mysteriousness... you might have some guessing figuring out. because of contradictions, it gets suspicious then you discover if your suspicion was right or was way off, that's the fun I guess...

usually, it gets interesting when starts to unfold like origami... you see the outside then it will unfold until is the paper with the marks, the origin of it...

I try to pull a few amusing or informative quotes and include the trash rating. The rating system is based on trash receptacles and fire. A dumpster fire is probably considered a five or six on a scale of one to ten, but the system is definitely not rigorous or linear.

It's pretty clear "Sousou no Frieren" (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) is the locomotive pulling the hype-train this Fall. "Undead Unluck" has the next most interest, followed by, surprisingly, "Kusuriya no Hitorigoto" (The Apothecary Diaries).

Why don't we go over all the best new animes that you may have missed from 2023. As usual I tried to get a little bit of everything in terms of genre.

In continuation of my stack of anime adaptations of visual novels https://myanimelist.net/stacks/9471 , I want to present you with a stack of anime that in one way or another relate to either the eroge industry, or the fandom or meta culture associated with it. For example, shows where characters develop visual novels, anime that parody the clichés and archetypes of visual novels, or series where characters enter the world of visual novels, making the most of the meta-narrative of this type of media. In the latter, of course, I tried to include only real meta shows, avoiding otome and eroge isekai where this setting is just wish fulfillment without any meta.

The anime listed on this list had lower popularity before its ongoing broadcast. In my opinion, this list is appropriate to the title and I hope this stack helps you get recommendations for anime that will air in 2023.
