Just like Re Main, Haikyuu is an entertaining sports anime. Both shows have lovable characters, that will always give you a good laugh. You really get to see how the main character and supporting characters around them grow to the very top!

While Re: Main is a bit different because of the amnesia thing. They are pretty similar a prodigy on a bad team, teaching amateurs how to play. They have strong supporting pieces that have their own motivation but they all have to come together to achieve their slightly unrealistic goals. Through hard word practice and bonds they formed they try to achieve their goals. While the prodigy realizes he can better himself as well

Both are sports anime about an underdog team in a less popular sport with a Happy-go-lucky MC who holds a lot of trauma. Both take a dramatic tonal shift and both have a larger focus on interpersonal development than gameplay.

Both are team sports anime (Bakuten!!'s team has 6 guys, Re-Main's team has 7 guys). Both main leads go to the first class of high school. Both main leads went to an inferior high school than they planned, but for very different reasons. Both have plenty of lighthearted and comedic scenes; these can either stand on their own or can be assumed to lighten up the more serious scenes and themes. Both anime are well-written, their animation is fluid and the characters are well-drawn. As for differences there are about as many as similarities : In Re-Main the main lead has a somewhat rare medical issue around which much of the  read more

Both are swimming-related anime and they both have very summery vibes to them. They also both have a very expressive cast with varying personalities

Yet another great sport themed anime. I have high hoped for the anime to have a great story just like Sk8’s.

If you enjoy Re: Main, watch Yuri on Ice. Both are comedy filled, but intense sports animes. In Yuri on Ice, the MC overcomes challenges in his way to make it to the very top and earn a gold medal. This is a fan favorite that I believe you would enjoy. :)

The general plot of each show is about reviving a Sports Club with no members. And both Mcs are similar in that they both went to a Powerhouse middle School but lost love for their respective sports due to an incident that happened, and decide to attend a school without a team (club) for the sport. However, when pestered by their friends to join the new club, they reluctantly join and do their best to reclaim their top form and lead their teams to victory in tournaments.

Both are sports anime about an underdog team in a lesser-known sport with an MC that had previously been an ace on an old team. Both show high-speed skill development in MC based on previous prodigy status that feels legitimate rather than forced in an underdog team. Both shows have a theme of growing yourself to grow the team, but just one player can't win for you. Both teams have previous national winners on them but retain underdog status by being from a small school with newbie players mixed in so the upward climb feels both realistic and doable. Shakunetsu Kabbadi does a better job  read more

A prodigy MC who has lost his place in his team due to an incident, and then joins an anonymous team where he starts to change.

Both shows focus on rookies joining a new sport, a MC with a past of sports who quit for varying reasons and melodrama. They’re both very much “sports slow burn” with our characters not playing until almost the end of the show, with very heart racing and climatic scenes. They’re both great for the melodramatic sports slow burn fans, and show an awesomely under shown sport each. (Although, it should be noted, these are both "sports slow-burns" with little sport action and focus on the characters more so - go in expecting sports as a theme and not the main plot!)

Similar in terms of the premise of memory loss and how the main characters deal with it to maintain their relationships with their friends. Both also have dramatic moments that have the same vibe aside from their wholesome slice-of-life scenes.
