Overall: When you look at it as a children's show, it's pretty good. It's obviously inspired by things like Precure and Miraculous Ladybug , especially that second one. The target audience is younger than Ladybug, I'd say tween is the max for the intended audience age. I watched the show as something brainless to put on while I wasn't feeling well, and it was enjoyable.

Story: The storyline, despite being formulaic, also builds upon itself in a way that definitely feels like there's a story progression. The episodes are short, but I prefer the episode ending when the story is done and not padding it out ... too much - the story does a good job at giving a feel of things moving along at a reasonable pace even when the episodes are short. The ending is an unexpectedly dramatic 2 parter, which I think leaves the door open for season 2. Again, have in mind that I'm judging it as a kids show.

Art: The 3d animation is actually well done, especially on the range of emotions the characters can show in their faces. The art style is similar to Ladybug, but it's a bit more "koreanized" idk how to explain that better - this is more obvious when looking at the male characters - however the quality assurance is much better since things remained pretty consistent and nothing stood out as a noticeable quality drop.

Sound: Watched this on Netflix with the original korean, so I didn't see any mismatch between audio and lipflaps. The voice acting is okay, and the way the little pings speak is also very kids-anime like, with them ending the sentences in characteristic cutesy ways. Someone who is not used to the genre, or hasn't watched shows like Precure, would be unused to it and find it cringy (I still do, if I haven't watched anime in a while), but it comes with the territory. Even the english dub kept this kind of speech.

Character: Pretty okay. Wouldn't say there's any standouts, but I don't remember anyone annoying the shit out of me either. My fave is Marylou who is every tomboy trope rolled into one.

If you like shows like Miraculous Ladybug, Precure, or Tokyo Mew Mew, you'll like this show. My only recommendation is that you DON'T watch the English dub. I have nothing against dubs, but the one for CT is HORRIBLE. It sounds very awkward and the actors tones often don't fit scenes.

The story is very simple. A young girl named Romi needs to catch fairies that represent different emotions. The show is very similar to Miraculous, but with a more traditional magical girl flair. The constant use of desserts also reminds me of shows like Tokyo Mew Mew, Yumeiro Patissiere, and Kira Kira Precure a ... la mode.

None of these comparisons are a bad thing, magical girl series tend to borrow certain themes from one another, but if you don't like sugary sweet magical girls, you won't enjoy this. If you're like me and adore that sort of thing, you'll enjoy this.

I'm having a lot of fun with this show and I think you should give it a chance (with Korean audio of course). :)

First, the negatives.

There are way better magical girl anime's out there to watch.

Opening was just cringe, its so bad. I know its a kids show but still....

Anyone want a Miraculous Ladybug clone? This is it.

* Mc's best friend has an online blog

Voice actors sound like they barely speak English. Lip flaps are way off.

As for positives...

Art style is cute.
Boys look straight out of a K-pop band, if you like that.


Just go watch Ladybug instead of this garbage. Better plot, characters, and animation. Think I had more fun writing this review.
