Final Fantasy

Both are related on their famous videogame franchise, although FF is more close to the ealier saga before number 7, but streetfighter stays true to the fans both are very enjoyable to watch! 

the fantasy-comedy genre is overwhelmly simmilair at both of these, lots of scorcery, swordfights, re-eincarnations and lots of funny moments what can be enjoyed with the whole fammily. 

Both have the RPG genre in the anime, spells, lots of magic, swords, mistresses to be saved, magical beasts and of course, those funny "You f**ked it up" moments!! 

Very similar art style, setting, and theme. Vaguely SNES-era fantasy JRPG settings, with airships, pirates, and [possible minor spoiler] co-opting the power of God. 

-Both are short videogame adaptations that take many liberties from their source material while still being relatively faithful. -Both take place in a blend of sci-fi and high fantasy, and have vague post-apocaliptic implications. -Both have a similar Akira Toriyama inspired sense of humor (Slapstick, light echii, goofy subversions, gags in the middle of fights) 

These are both animated Final Fantasy specials that give additional insight into mainline FF titles. Final Fantasy (OVA) delves deeper into the story of Final Fantasy V whereas Episode Ardyn delves into the character back story of Final Fantasy XV's main villain Ardyn Izunia.  

These anime expand on the story of mainline Final Fantasy titles. Kingsglaive works as a prequel to the most recent game Final Fantasy XV (15) whereas Final Fantasy (OVA) continues on showing the aftermath of the game FF V (5). 

These are both specials that provide additional lore to main series Final Fantasy game franchises. Last Order serves as an animated adaptation of events we see in the game itself (FF7), expanded upon for further insight whereas Final Fantasy (OVA) acts as an animated sequel of sorts to the events of the game Final Fantasy 5. Fans of either game or these kinds of fantasy settings and story telling will get great enjoyment from both. 

Both these anime take place directly after mainline Final Fantasy titles. Final Fantasy (OVA) continues on the story of FF V whereas Advent Children continues on the fan favourite FF 7. Fans of the franchise or of either title will likely enjoy both of them. 

These are both animated sequels to mainline Final Fantasy games. Advent Children Complete continues the events of the classic game FF VII whereas the Final Fantasy (OVA) continues the events of FF V. 

Both OVA specials that give additional animated content for mainline Final Fantasy games which provide the world with added Lore and give us a closer look at some of the series characters. On the Way to a Smile focuses mainly on a side character Denzel from the fan favourite Final Fantasy 7 (VII) whereas Final Fantasy (OVA) works more as a direct sequel to the events of the game Final Fantasy 5 (V). 

These both expand on the story of mainline Final Fantasy games. Brotherhood serves as a prequel to the more recent FF XV whereas Final Fantasy (OVA) continues on showing the aftermath of the game FF V. 

Both are fantasy anime based on classic Japanese role-playing games from Square Enix.
