Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi

Both romance movies deal with accepting -and overcoming- a disability. Although A Silent Voice has more of a focus on the topic of bullying. 

Similar theme of female main character living with disabilities, main male protagonist learning to understand and support them. Animation style, character ages, side characters are similar. Tone of the movie is somewhat different, with Silent Voice diving a bit more into the serious and heavy aspects of the theme. 

- Both have stunning visuals - Main girl has some sort of disability - Happy ending, but got dark or sad at times - Emotional Romance - Both hit you hard  

-Both FMC are disabled -Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi focuses more on romance -Silent voice on the other hand focuses more on redemption and self-acceptance In short both story are similiar.  

These movies involve romance and drama, and make focus on disabilities. Also, they have an amazing animation and ost. I highly recommend both of them. 

They're both movies that follows the relationship between a disabled female and a male. A Silent Voice is more emotional/dramatic heavier than Josee though. 

Both heroines are difable, thus give us an insight abt how this world still look down upon a difable people  

The influence one of the movies had on the other one can be clearly seen. There are quite a few elements that were similar in the story. Great and enjoyable characters. Other than that, Beautiful visuals and animation. Sound design and OST were other things that were beautiful in both of the movies. If you like one of the movies, you should highly check the other one out.  

Disability. It sucks to have a disability, you become unable to pursue dreams you once aspired to, or you just become handicapped to the point where you are "too different" to be classed as a regular human. A Silent Voice and Josee Tiger Fish understand this trouble. With the two stories centring around drawbacks of such provided above, there comes the magnification of feels and emotion, which these two movies do a spectacular. Silent Voice does this with the bullied Nishimiya rekindling relationships with her former bully Ishida, who undergoes his episodes of mental crisis in the movie. Josee Tiger Fish follows a disabled girl, Josee, who has a new carer for her, Tsuneo. The two movies go out their ways to iron out the creases that are the poor interactions that commenced in the past, going towards a more friendly relationship between the two in each movie. Although "A Silent Voice" is a lot heavier to the heart in contrast to "Josee," the two can still be considered as similar since both have a premise of a guy falling in love with a disabled girl. Other than that, the two are also accompanied by a phenomenal soundtrack and astonishing graphics and animation. If you've already watched "A Silent Voice" and liked it, then I am positive that you'll also like "Josee." 

Both movies have a heroine with a disability. Both are also great movies*(imo)* While both offer romance, silent voice is more focused on redemption and self-acceptance while josee offers more romance. 

They are both a drama/romance about a person with a disability and they are both quite sad. 

- Female main character has a disability of some sort and suffers prejudice from other people because of it. - Main character doesn't quite understand F-MC, but gets to know her better and understand her over time, eventually falling in love. - Female main character has a rival in love that is a asshole with her at first. However... - MC has a cool friend that supports him and the FMC - Very deep and highly emotional, with lots of comedy, romance and drama. Prepare some lil handkerchiefs. Or buckets. - BANGER SOUNDTRACK, WITH A AMAZING ENDING SONG!!!!!! 

Both romance with disabled females. Josee focuses more on the romance while the other is more on bullying. 

Both are coming up age romance anime movie consists of relatable and well written characters , beautiful and emotional storytelling with bitter sweet ending  

Both anime are good but Josee movie has a romance scene Both anime have a good character development Have similar vibes and plot  

talk about the most same point = Heroine with physical disability (no Offense!) bring slice of life feels, this bold anime have much great story who telling how precious your life. 

The FMC in both movie's are disabled and it shows how the world looks down upon those who are physically disabled

These movies are beautiful and similar in there own ways. The story's are enjoyable, emotional with great characters and amazing plot.  

Two Romantic Gems.....Excellent story and was heck of a drama.....Josee would be one of the best movies of 2020 

A Silent Voice explores the impact of living with a body disability on the personal relationships with other people, with a great emotional level and a stunning visual art, something which I similarly found in Josee, the Tiger and the Fish. 

Both animes have a female character who has a disability, and another person who decides to be part of their lives and help them; grow together as a person overcoming obstacles, and with a certain romantic air. So if you liked one, you'll probably like the other. 

For some reason, Josee the tiger and the fish is similar to A silent voice, in that the protagonist is a disable girl with difference character and story time plot too. after watching Josee, the tiger and the fish, it reminded me of the ending of A silent voice. Both of the movies ending were same good in romance and have best slice of life stories. A silent voice significantly develop the romance plot after Ishida rescuing nishimiya and romance plot at Josee grow when tsuneo safes her from an accident too. 

Understanding others is often difficult. And it is even more difficult when the other person has something different, like a handicap, that sets him or her apart from the others. Misunderstanding turns into fear, fear into hate, and hate into rejection. In these films, we learn to understand and love others, despite their differences. Both represent the difficulties of a girl with a disability, and how they manage to overcome them. It is a story of love and compassion, and although Josee is more focused on romance where A Silent Voice takes a darker tone, the two have a lot of similarities, both in the themes and in the execution of the story. And on top of all that, both are of extremely high quality with stunning visuals and music. read more 

-Both are fantastic movies that properly develop the characters, their motivations, and includes some romance that isn't just shoehorned in. -Both movies have characters that have disabilities that do impact their lives, and tastefully demonstrates those characters overcoming the major obstacles they are faced with.  

If you love " a silent voice " you'll love this too 

If you enjoyed A Silent Voice and are wanting something simular Josee, the Tiger and the Fish would be the closest thing to it. Both entail a character who has some type of disability and displays the effects it has on how they live their lives. During the anime you see the characters form a strong connection with one another and witness them become a wholesome couple. They definitely dont have it easy during the anime and there are many problematic situations throught it but I think that shows how much they endured together and adds to their overall character developments. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish was definitly a rollercoster of emotions for me but the anime was definitely worth the watch.  read more 

Both's are romantic movies that its cast revolves around two young adults where the female is disabled in some way, they also have similar pacing, art style, writing and share similar plot points(One of it was the same) If you liked one you should check out the other, Your heart will really love them 

Both series' share similar character dynamics. They both contain calm yet caring ML's and aggressive FL's due to events growing up. The main relationship also shares some similarities with its development 

Slow bloom. Toradora and Josee Tiger Fish both follow the same premise and start-up, and really and truly, are the same thing but the story has different attributes. Toradora is based in a school where protags Ryuuji and Taiga play matchmakers for each other. Josee Tiger Fish is about Tsueno and his time caring for Josee. Both female MCs are bitchy violent tsunderes you'd either grow to love or hate with their male partners who don't really know anything about fighting for themselves. You want something that blooms from dumb arguments to a more wholesome relationship? The two anime are the place to go for.  

- A kind and homely boy with little money - A girl with a bad temper, sharp tongue, doesn't trust anyone and is rude to strangers, with some bodily discomfort. On their first date they fight and the girl immediately hates the male protagonist, even though he does his best to take care of her. After that he gains the trust of the female protagonist and they build a great relationship with each other. And the girl is shown to be very careful, attentive and affectionate with the male protagonist. - Character maturation -Drama, comedy, friendship, 

Unlikely duos become in love. Both are light-hearted shows and great shows to enjoy without overthinking about the plot but just enjoy the romance developed. Do not care too much about illogical events. As long as it makes some sense, just go with the flow of the story to enjoy the most out of both shows.

- Short, immature, tsundere main female character. - Cool, poor, hardworking main male character. - Similar arc of mature male character helping female main character to get their life in order and take care of themselves. - Intercharacters romance drama. - Awesome, memorable soundtracks. - Great slice of life, romance anime! 

Toradora! is my personal favourite series and unbeaten in anyway. However I made here this recommendation for Josée purely for Taiga and Josee.♡ Taiga and Kumiko are such a belied (and tsundere!) but beautiful, doll-like, and tiger-like impression but at the same time a fragile princess. And though Aisaka seemed to be perfectly fine, Taiga was as much the same as Kumiko; she had that unableness and hindrance of achieving what she really wanted, and always with the impression of everything being out of reach… In fact the entire Toradora! had also trying to convey a message about that. Maybe Taiga and Kumiko are both what gave of Sagan’s Those without shadow; we sometimes were unable to find our grasp and where we belong because our ableness, that ability to be able to make things possible, was depending onto something or someone. read more

Your Name and Josee Tiger Fish follow people in this awkward relationship of a messy start to get to know one another, into this magical adventure of going forward to pursue what means most to you in your life. Josee Tiger Fish follows the description in a relatively conventional way, with dreams of Tsueno being pursued via working hard work, which in turn creates his one-in-a-lifetime relationship with Josee. Your Name is the same thing, but a little different, with a weird first interaction between Mitsuha and Taki, but the pursuing part is not for an object, but for a person, with the two using any means to meet each other, even if it means travelling the country. Both movies are fantastic in what they sell, using nothing but feels for those who love movies as such, I'd recommend these for a good romance story with a little bit of magic that the two like to shower their atmosphere with ;)  read more 

Features a romantic tale where the heroine is older than the hero, them presenting a story that many people can relate to and them showing what love really can do. Other things to keep in mind when considering in watching these two are their soundtracks and visuals. 

Beautiful audiovisuals on all levels. Story is about a young adult/teenage romance that relies on feels. Neither are particularly subtle. 

There are both sweet roamance, if you liked one you'll surely like the other 

Josee, the lion, and the fish also has beautiful environmental renditions and an emotionally charged story which connects two people. 

Other than their similarities within their plot, a guy meeting a girl with health problems, the characters in these movies are also quite similar. The story mainly revolves around two characters, a resilient person who does not know the concept of giving up and a person having little to no interest in life; then they meet, and they thrive together; what happened next is simply unexpected. If you want to know what happened next, then you might what to check it out.

When broken down to the simplest summary, both movies can be described as: "boy meets girl with a health problem." 

Idk man, I just love the depiction of romance from both of these movies 

Both include a unlikely yet sweet and cute romance that start off with the two being strangers but getting to know each other as time go by. They all have something they love to do like scuba or writing haiku and both involve the one planning to move. 

Josee is basically Soda but better. Both takes on similar cliches and characters and are movies with a similar length. The main difference is just that its much better executed and have a beautiful but less stylized art style 

Both share passion for the ocean, diving and fish. However, Grand Blue is a comedy before anything and Josee is a drama romance. Despite the difference in genre, I still think you should watch Grand Blue because of the similarity in atmosphere. 

Both are college students related. They both also have a MC who loves to scuba dive. Josee is a bit more romance related while Grand Blue is just college students goofing off haha 

Both give off very similar vibes emotionally and aesthetically, have some similar characters placements and all of the emotions are very beautifully portrayed through the animation style and the plot . Very much Enjoyed both the shows and find myself fortunate to have seen such beautiful pieces of art work <3 

Both the coming up age story start of quite similar way in which the male character have to take care of a socially introverted female and they unintentionally fall in love in the process , There is lots of emotional twist and turn in both the movies which I don't want to spoil.
