Series that are not BL but have a rich BL potential and fanbase. Includes some popular shippings and shipping potential between the two male leads.

Anime where the main character(s) have animal ears or are some kind of an animal

favorite rainbow/colorful animes!! If the characters or overall color palette of the anime is colorful it'll go here no matter the genre!!

Here is my list of highly rated hidden gems that deserve more attention!!
They either have unique stories, beautiful animation, and/or intriguing characters yet they're barely known (400k and less)

Title explains itself.I hate romance.I said comedy but sometimes it can get serious like in some Gintama arcs but other than that they are very hilarous imo. Also if you don't like ecchi just search a bit on the net.I think you can find your answers there.

Some are in a grounded real world setting, some are in a fantasy setting, they all have a focus on day to day life and character interactions.

Surprisingly good series from an oversaturated genre. For people who are interested in isekai but are tired of generic, cliché, trope-filled stories.

(one entry per franchise)

Entries meet 4 or more of these criteria:
1. Atypical protagonist(s) (either in background, personality, or dynamics)
2. Unique magic / power system (aka no "He's casting without incantations?!?!")
3. Unique in-setting religion (aka no "Hello protagonist, I am the Goddess™ of this world")
4. No JRPG / video game mechanics (aka inventory, stats screen, skill list, etc.)
5. Major plot elements do not revolve around an adventurers' guild (generic place that gives quests)
6. No demon king / demon lord / demon army
7. Minimal to no fanservice / nudity
8. Not in the harem / reverse harem subgenres (as in revolving around the main character's many love interests) (series marked with an 8* are ones that are tagged as Harem by MAL but don't really fit the definition)
9. Protagonist has healthy friendships with both male and female characters (as equals rather than subordinates or simple love interests)
10. Has a reason to be an isekai
11. Consistently funny comedy

This also includes anime with multiple seasons.

Kansai-ben, Touhoku-ben, Hokkaido-ben, ... Japan is rich with their dialects, accents and expressions. I find certain charms to these and will try to maintain this stack adding animes involving some of these dialects.
It might take me some time to gather series and regions but I will try my best.

Being purely evil or purely good is a misconception. You never know, but there are times someone has to sacrifice their good to become the villain. We always have some good and bad in us. So bad guys can have a conscience too.

some might not have god tier plot but still enjoyable

Story where the protags fight with, as or alongside demons/monsters of some description and are in, teach at or adjacent to school.

For this list "school" can apply to any organisation that has the typical rigid hierarchy/power structure, junior/senior dynamic (things like militaries count but not informal clubs or groups)

Only the first series of any given show is included in the list

My stack about some of my favorite animes that I watched every single one myself, containing Demons,Demon Lords (Maou), Djinn and even Yokai.

The demons can be the antagonists, protagonists or even a mean for power.

Some of them may take longer for the demons to appear, some of them will include demons/demon lords starting from 2nd Season.

As for the rating, I leave that to your own judgement and tastes.

Idk, I guess these are shows that may not look the most appealing to most but I'd still give a try because you might like it
