Both are about a mysterious place that appeared in the world and is too dangerous to be explored yet with mysterious creatures and unknown things inside.

The magical continent of "Gunjou no Magmel" is clearly inspired by the world of "Hunter x Hunter". Just like the idea of explorers venturing onto the island to find previously unknown life forms and resources. But the comparison ends here.

They have the same directors of Naruto, a soundtrack very similar, both animes have fights and powers, the script is already quite different, while Naruto already has its objectives, in Gunjou no Magmel, they are "exploring" a continent. I recommend.

Both Anime are made by Studio Pierrot (respectively Pierrot+) and have quite a similar artsytle. If you watched the show for that reason you should give Akudama Drive a try, besides the rest is definitely superior to Gunjou no Magmell.

Both shows revolve around venturing into unknown territory, in Spriggan, its for Relics of an ancient civilization whereas in Gunjou no Magmell, it can range from obtaining rare species of a plant to high selling organs of animals for sale in black market.

Both involve an MC that is overpowered but doesn't show it Like Mob the plot circles around the MC's job, however, Gunjou no Magmell is all mini-arcs

Both show have magic and the protagonists both have the ability to make weapons with their minds.

The same setting on an island where there exist beast and monsters of different kind where survival of the fittest is the name of the game. However, on the character side , that's where both differ, cu'z in one movie it involves a group of marooned people who have to strive to survive, while in one anime, it only involves one guy whose job was to save those whom were stupid enough to venture to such dangerous place in order to find riches but failed in the end.

gunjou no magmel, as well as muhyo to rouji is about a main character whose is very strong and work as a freelancer, solving a problem per day

They are adventure/shounen shows with main characters that can manipulate matter. Also, there are themes of balancing ethics with the search for power/innovation.

~ focuses on the MC and helping different people with their problem in every episode. ~ always lacking of money, its funny to see how they are trying to save the money XDD so can you eat marshmellow for the whole day (gunjou no magmel) or only eating the rice and bread (gintama)?! ~ beat the monster for their customer and trying to save them. So that they can earn the money, but not all of them. Mostly. If you are Gintama fans, then you might like Gunjou no Magmel!

Protagonist with special power travel the world (or island). Each episode has its own story. These stories question human nature, morale etc.

I personally love the main character and sidekick chemistry and both these animes share that as well as the supernatural aspect and fighting against strange creatures. But the similarities end there, Ultramarine Magmell is less serious and not as well polished in terms of animation or story but for someone whos looking for "another anime" with that chemistry mentioned earlier this could be one.

These two shows both sport concepts about exploration, as well as some gray moral areas

Both shows are mainly episodic with very dark tones and exploring the human nature. Both also have the premise of people coming to the MC for favours.

Both are episodic in a way and there's also another main girl in Gunjou no Magmell that is exactly like Niche.

The same setting where it involves an island where creatures of a different species exist and would prey on anything they can get their jaws on, even humans, the difference of course, was the kind of characters involve where in Kyochuu Rettou in involves a group of people who have to survive if they're gonna get off the island, while in Gunjou no Magmell, it involves a certain individual whose job was to save any individual who was too foolish to go to the island in search of riches but failed.
