Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei

Both the main protagonists (Rika & Kyon) have to decide which world to live in. The "perfect world" and their original world. 

Both have a similar theme of people and things disappearing with only one person aware of that happening. They both also require seeing the preceding seasons to understand the plot and characters. 

Choose the ideal world, that you and everyone wanted but lost relationships with friends? Or back the original world that not ideal but the result of one's own hard work? Both Rika and Kyon have to choose the world they want. And "Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu" Is Similar to "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei" 

The Protagonists, Rika and Kyon find themselves in a new world free of everything that they "hated" about their previous world. The circumstances of Kyon and Rika are very different but the concept is the same. In this new world free of chaos, they must make a choice; the world they came where despite it's flaws, was a fun and happy world at the best of times. Or they could choose their new world free of chaos but also lacks all of the things our protagonists will realize they cherished deep down.
