Short anime where the main demographic is children, but it is surprisingly fun and relaxing watch even for adults. While Pui Pui Molcar is made with stop-motion, Pingu in the City is made with CGI that is mimicking stop-motion.

Tv series with animal protagonists that behave like humans. Made for kids, these two series have no actual dialogue, have short episodes and are comedies. Both Pingu and My Friend Bernard are franchises that are quite popular in Western part of the world and lot of people wouldn't exactly connect them with anime. Also, both have 3D computer generated animation.

Bananya and Pingu in the City are both children's series with animals going on uncommon adventures which have developed a periphery demographic online. While Pingu in the City lacks narration, both are easily accessible for all ages due to the simplicity of their storytelling.

Super short stop motion series with clumsy and eccentric animals as protagonists

Pearls of animation and symbolism. Both are philosophical, complex and have a strong sense of detail. If Ghost in the Shell seeks to anticipate problems of the future. Pingu remains anchored to reality offering reflections on contemporary doxa.

Both are comic show for Kids, both are animated with a cartoonish CGI, both have a main character who is an animal, cheerful but a little bit clumsy who discovers life and world, both have a light-hearted universe and ambience, and both have episodic and simple stories.

Remakes of older stories for children of non-japanese origin that were particulary popular with kids in Western world (Ronja/Pingu). These new reimaginations both employ full 3D CGI animation made with which Polygon Pictures studio was involved. In both the protagonist explores the world around them and interract with those around them (mainly adults).

Silly episodical adventures of animal protagonists, done with a 3D CGI style that makes the series look more cartoony than anime.
