A boy divided between two girls. Lots of flashback to the childhoods of the characters and how these childhood memories shape their personalities and desires today. Similar story. Both lighthearted good comedies, at times giving more serious messages . Very likable characters. Lots of high school action.

Masamune-kun no Revenge's story revolves around Masamune whose plan is to make his old childhood friend, Aki, fall in love with him. Though, his intention is to get revenge for reasons in the past. This is similar to Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunouse except here, both the male and female characters want the other to confess their love. The main difference between the two is that in Masamune-kun, the male is one-sidedly creating schemes to make the female fall while in Kaguya-sama, both the male and female create schemes against each other, thus, having an even more comedic romance.

Besides being a school romantic comedy series, the two male leads from the two stories similarly wants revenge on a popular girl in school who they had a childhood encounter with.

Both have a mean yet admirable lead female. Similar outcast characters trying to fit in. Slice of life Drama Both have deep plots and characters.

Both feature a main character who was fat but after losing weight became very popular. You could say both shows are Harems as well, and the MC lives with a sibling of the opposite sex and their mother.

Same theme of Revenge but Masamune seeks to break the girl's heart while Kyoko aims to become better than the guy. Both love aspects are done very well and if you're looking for a fresher love story you might like MknR. Skip beat is a bit funnier though.

Protagonist wants to start a new school life, due to certain prejudices he has had of his appearance. It is meet with a girl who is known for having an aggressive personality and has a proper nickname that lives up to its name (and is tsundere). He discovers that behind her, there is a girl like anybody, who hides just like he, the one of prejudices. At the beginning is a toxic relationship, will they learn to leave their differences aside ?. The big difference is that Toradora is the protagonists help each other to get the attention of the other's best friend. And Masamune-kun,  read more

They are both comedy, romance and school animes. Both male MC-s are not in love with heroine at first. Adagaki from Masamune is not interested in boys, because she thinks boys will just use her. And Sata from Ookami is not interested in girls, because he thinks girls are not taking relationship seriously. Also in both animes new love rival appears.

Both anime are harems and rom-coms. Still, Haganai is much funnier and much better than Masamune-kun. Both anime have karaoke scenes, pool/beach episodes, the rich girl, the feminine guy, MC's little sister and fanservice.

If you’ve heard about this anime you’ll know most people stopped watching after 10 minutes cos it was basic af. But if they’d waited like 7 minutes more they would’ve been laughing their heads off. Ore wo suki is a one of a kind “harem” anime. If you were lured into watching Masamune kun’s revenge cos of it’s unique plot trust me you won’t be disappointed in watching this. If I had to say ore suki is probably better cos the MC is more relatable and the female characters are more likeable and developed (in only 12 episodes ikr!) But they’re both one of kind “harem” anime  read more

Similarities - Both MCs hide their identity to get revenge on a female - Both MCs glow up and are admired by their 'revenge' Differences - Doupo is a wuxia story in Ancient China VS. Masamune is a modern day japanese story - Doupo has action/fighting VS. Masamune is more SOL

Similarities: Both shows are Harem and rom-com Characters have similar personalities

The main protagonist is Bullied and harassed for his body and ugly looks at the beginning but soon he overcomes that fact and becomes very popular. He sets his life to revenge or to make the things right by using his popularity and good looks. Masamune kun is a japanese anime on the other hand lookism is korean adapted from manhwa. In Masamune kun the story focuses on romance and slice of life whereas lookism focuses on fighting and drama more. But the two of them has similar story setting.

Kaguya-sama gives off a story of two male and female MCs trying possibly anything they can to get one of the other to fall in love first as 'a game'. On the other hand, Masamune-kun no revenge introduces a male MC having to sacrifice anything to let the other fall in love for revenge regarding his past. SAME VIBE HERE? Nah? shit, it might just be me who's seeing this (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ Anyways, both shows are pretty hilarious to watch. That's all I could say >0<

Partly interesting premise getting distracted with Harem elements unnecessarily in demand...of the creator(s).

They are similar in that: -They take place in a high school setting -Both the main male characters are not clueless -Involves a love triangle between the main guy and two girls -Both are romcom while having a bit of drama -Both have unresolved endings

The premise is exactly like the last arc of this show, now as the protagonist of his own story.

Both male lead character are narcissist. Art is almost identical. Main female MC is also scary. Both are fun to watch.

A very similar vibe/atmosphere. Both also have secrets that get uncovered as the series goes on

Both of these are tales of revenge (Gankutsuou being based off the archetypal revenge plot from The Count of Monte Cristo). Gankutsuo is certainly heavier than Masamune-kun's high school antics, but I think you will enjoy watching the vindictive machinations of a character seeking to deal punishment for past wrongs.

If you enjoy a uniquely Japanese romance style, with a couple who seemingly like each other but take a long time to get together, or may not even end up together, two great options are Masamune-kun no Revenge and Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru. In these anime, you'll encounter this distinctive romance approach, where the journey of the characters is as important as the eventual outcome. Prepare yourself for a delightful exploration of the complexities and nuances of relationships in these series.

Both have something between a man and women in the past. Now that they are in highschool , meet once again after a long period time. Most personality are come from what they were like when they were kids - Same Romance and Comedy - A lot of drama - Ofc the girls are cute :3
