MOD EDIT: Spoilers below.

Captured In Her Eyes is the best movie of Detective Conan. Shinichi confessed that he likes Ran. Ran lost his memory and no matter how Shinichi wanted to appear to her as Shinichi and comfort her...thinking of it just made it harder for him. And also that Haibara almost confessed to Shinichi...that part is really something. The thrill, the excitement, the romance, the mystery being revealed...I really like it so much!

It's so painful even for a great detective like himself not to be able to help the one you consider the most important in the world...but because of the unexpected situation he ...

Detective Conan: Captured in Her Eyes is often held as a classic among fans for its great characterization and emotional moments. I would argue that this was the first Detective Conan movie to get the format right, as it has more cohesion and consistency than its last film.

A lot of the emotion comes from Ran losing her memories after a traumatic experience with the murderer. The fact that Conan can't do anything as Shinichi to help her is a very cruel thing to undergo. I've seen 750 episodes of the TV Series so the story is kind of familiar, but this movie made a new difference, it may seem like another DC Episode it is indeed not and it's on a new level, at least to me.

And of course, the Art is also on a new level like dang, I was completely fascinated by the art, I like it. And the animation made it more fascinating. I'd wish the art and animation are the same for the TV series.

The sound fx and soundtracks!! The classic Detective Conan soundtracks provide the old yet intense and thrilling vibes to the movie. ...

Detective Conan Movies Rewatch Before Watching Movie 26: Movie 4

I think one of the strengths of the earlier Conan movies was that the movie presented the case logically and naturally while maintaining suspense and keeping the audience on edge, and similar to Movie 3, Movie 4 did an excellent job in this aspect. The movie began with a serial murder that also hurt those around our main cast, followed up with the eventual stalking/attacks on Ran (which also made the murderer of this movie one of the most threatening ones among DC villains). This was a classic whodunit case similar to Movie 2, though this ...
