Both are sci-fi anime based on the works of Masamune Shirow. They have similar elements, such as many action scenes involving cyborgs and military and an overall similar vibe.

Both are dark sci fi cyberpunk stories with a good amount of ultraviolent stuff and of course human expiramentation in it too.

Both are pretty classic cyberpunk ovas staring a female lead and are caught up into all kinds of ultraviolent hijinks throughout the story too.

Set in sci-fi futuristic cities involving a military organization fighting robotic opponents. The city atmosphere in particular is fairly similar. In Bubblegum Crisis it's the AD Police against Boomers, and in Black Magic it's the actual military against a runaway combat android. Both times it's excessive violence within civilian urban areas.

Black Magic M-66 and Relic Armor Legaciam are both OVAs from 1987. They both share a lot in common. -the plot of both is spurred by an old man's military experiment going wrong -this aforementioned experiment results in the military targeting the scientist's granddaughter -the second half of both take place in a cyberpunk influenced city environment -as they came out during the same time, the art styles are pretty similar Overall Black Magic is more military-themed and has some comedic moments, while Relic Armor Legaciam is more sci-fi and mecha-themed and has fewer laughs. Still the two are a lot alike and if you saw one you  read more

Dirty Pair has the same playful lack of seriousness when dealing with lethal situations as Black Magic. They both feature a pair of women as the leads. They're both very funny. They both have interesting science fiction mixed with intentional goofiness. They're a clear match.

Both are sci-fi anime based on the works of Masamune Shirow. They both are made around the same period, so they have similar art and animation. They have a somewhat similar vibe, since they both have military vs cyborg action and some goofy humor.

The events of both anime are set in futuristic cities and have strong female main characters. Both anime have cyborgs whose job is to hunt others, and have a lot of action and violence. Also, both have an overall similar vibe and atmosphere.

Loveably, overly 80's in style and execution. Both are great sci-fi/cyberpunk anime series that deals with technology and what the future might bring us. Both are set in a dark, post-blade runner type setting, yet both have humor. Both come from the mangas of Masamune Shirow. Both are inspired by 80's action flicks. Dominion is going down "Streets of Fire" central, while Black Magic M-66 is going down "Termiantor 1" lane. Dominion is the much stronger of the two, however.
