Cranky supernatural creatures going after each other with spastic humor. Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san is several levels higher on the obscene comedy.

They are both fucking hilarious! They give out the same feeling and make fun out of a lot of things. 'DMC' is a fabulous parody about the music industry, the same way 'Yondemasu yo Azazael-san' laughs about humans, their problems and their true nature. If you loved either, you will definitely love the other one as well! <3

-Dectectives -Demons -A badass, sadistic male lead -A female lead that's not the damsel in distress or fan-service type -Amazingly hilarious comedy -Can seem childish but have actually very mature content (it doesn't show in MTNN in the first few episodes, but believe me it's NOT a child friendly anime)

Genma and Azazel have identical personalities.

Both series's are supernatural madness; Azazel-san featuring quirky demons and troubled individuals, whilst Panty and Stocking features missbehaving angels and quirky 'ghosts' (spirits born of negitive energy). Demons and Angels are simply on the other end of the same coin. You'll realise that both series's feature characters that appear to be out to do good, yet things aren't always so straight forward, as they're thrown into an obscure, troublesome scenario, as both serise's have the potential to go in whatever direction they feel like, nothing is out of ordinary. Finally, both are equally crude with the endless ability to offend; viewer discretion is advised, as both series's, as  read more

On top of both anime's consisting of 10 minutes of truely random and daft material, they share a number of key ellements... A young, normal person in a professional setting has no choice but to adjust to their new life - co-oporating with highly odd individuals whilst in the centre of obscure situation. Neither rely on what many of us are use to seeing in comedy anime - they don't rely on; bishounen's, the passive wimps, tsundere's, moe's and general harems situations - some of the plots are simple and realistic to some degree.

Gintama is held up by the comedy which provide good laughs throughout the series. Yondemasuyo Azazel San is a great, short anime with comedy throughout. Both shows rise towards the actiony climax within each arc even though it was brought up by jokes and laughs. Yondemasuyo Azazel San revolves around summoned demons and detective cases. In Gintama, the 3 main protagonists live in a city along with the Amanto (aliens). The three work as the Odd Jobs and take on many cases, some of which are detective cases

slapstick comedy about forced partnership between vampire hunter/detective running supernatural odd jobs and vampire/demon who's rumored to be a fearful fiend but in fact is just a pathetic lil dude.

Both are seinen comedies with gore elements, lots of sex jokes and over-the-top mimicry. The absurd black humor in both will either gross you out or make your stomach hurt from laughing.

Vulgar sex comedies with similar character designs.

The kind of jokes, and the plot (the concept of demons) are similar. Both were very enjoyable :)

The themes of the series are different but they have a really similiar style of humor going on.

It has dark humor with extreme violence and pop culture in it. They both have a topic on demons but Hoozuki is focused on the Eastern side while Azazel-san is more on the Western side.

Both are outrageous and unapologetic seinen comedies from Hell.

Both consists of exaggerated hilarious short abnormal stories.

Gory off the wall gag comedy with cute devils.

Both Grand blue and Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san Lots of jokes and some darker humor. Episodic, but has some light character and story progression. And the funny face changes depending on situations.

Same crude, weird, perverted humor, albeit Osomatsu-san is a bit more subtle in its ways and there is less action sequences.

Both have short episodes Same type of humour Char and Azazel are ridiculous

I feel like they are similar somehow. They're both hilarious and have demons and angels. Angels in Azazel, in my opinion, don't act very angel-like just like my thoughts of Gabriel and the angels. They all seem like opposites and I think if you enjoyed Gabriel DropOut, you will also enjoy Azazel-san!

- Slapstick comedy - Overpowered main character - Short episodes - Superpower vs. Demon power - Occasionlly breaks the fourth wall

Level E is definitely more serious. Lol I never thought I'd say that. Anyway, both shows are ridiculously funny and make you laugh until your sides hurt. They're really just stupid. If you try Level E you need to watch a few episodes before you just write it off. It also has a great ending. YYO is much more random. But I think if you want supernatural laughs then are just dumb these shows are for you.

Lots o' sexual humor in both of these series. Oh yeah, and all the subordinate characters get beaten up by their masters. TAT *sobsob*

Share the wacky humor that are not bounded by the laws of physics. Character design are not bounded, either. Genetically you can't give birth to some organism like them, ever, with or without GMO. Another proof that anime studios are better than NASA in term of messing with mysterious lifeforms.

Fast- paced speech comedy, rely a lot on conversation to be funny. (Like Gintama, both shows speak a lot and are not very funny muted.) The voice actors are skilled and contributed much to the funniness of the shows. Jokes are original and have something beyond the same old Japanese Manzai boke-tsukkomi style. Pacing is also done great, move on from joke to joke before you can stop the first laughing, a trait of good comedy.

Blood, angels(devils) and perverted humor.

The both are about occult. Since there is a few animes about occult science, demon/creature summoning and etc., it's a significant similiarity. Moreover, the sense of humour in "Yondemasuyo Azazel-san" and adventures & mysteries in "Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin" are the bonus features.

Both have fast paced humor - Azazel-san is more extreme though

They are both essentially grown-up pott/dirty jokes taken to extremes, sometimes ridiculously funny and at times very insightful.

Well you know I've watched a ton of anime and the first time I saw the true figure of Azazel from Shingeki no Bahamut, next to Beelzebub, I immediately thought of the anime Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san, with both playing tricks to humans.

Demons. Their human contractors. A lot of mindless violence. And tons of humour.
