The kind of ending I really hate

When you love the overall story, and the ending is quite happy. But somehow I feel something off, and I don't know why. Because the other characters seem pointless, perhaps? Why were they put there in the first place if in the end they were left without explanation? Especially Pokotarou and Lilac. And why did Kanbe guy look like someone who feels an itch but can't scratch?

the manga got axed because of the author's health condition if i remember correctly so i think this ending is to be expected sadly

it cant be help, the manga got axe, and the author probably wont be coming back for this even after her health condition problem.
