Cool tool, and you're one of my top compatibility matches to boot. :)

One suggestion would be to somehow deal with instances where a user doesn't rate their anime. A few of my top matches have dozens of shared anime, but no scores. It's clear we have some shared interest, but I have no idea how similarly we rate things yet they end up with a near perfect compabibility score.

Hi! I really like your tool. I think a problem with your formula is that it uses mean difference. And mean difference considers shows that only one user has rated but it's on the other users watching list, or they just didn't rate it. And this can definitely skew results and its probably why your formula doesn't correlate that well with MAL.
