Manga: School Rumble
both are very funny schoolmangas the only different are the characters: in school rumble they have a "kawaii"-factor and in CHS the charas looks more like gorillas (even a real gorilla appears!) but for those people who love school-comedies: a "must-see"

Manga: Sakamoto desu ga?
I'm Sakamoto and Cromartie High School both specialise in absurdist comedy in a high school setting. The main characters create comedic scenarios in different ways; Sakamoto has so much charisma that he can seemingly warp reality to work in his favour, whilst Kamiyama is the only character with more than two braincells but slowly loses them over the course of the series by way of osmosis. Though I find the incredibly short chapters more effort to read due to reduced story flow, I actually prefer Cromartie High School as it utilises this quality to continually build punchlines on top of each other, meaning the more  read more

They have the same feeling of black comedy?! Gag!? very random?! but a very big laugh!? Cromartie High school is serialized in a sequenced chapters!? however, B.B. Joker is a 4-square manga!? checkit out yourself a big laugh :P
