i can only recognize four of them: Chifuyu(Ichika's sister), Maya(Ichika's Asst. Homeroom teacher),

the two on the right side: they're ichika's classmate on season one, remember those 3 girls with a member always wearing some kind of cosplay...

the girl on the left side, i don't know her...maybe a new character.?

According to the LN's she's Tatenashi Sarashiki, Russia's cadet representative who pilots the IS [mysterious lady].

The two people to the right are two members of the student council(both are nohoho-san, from the same family) and the one on the left is tatenashi, though on the light novel cover tatenashi is depicted as having really light blue hair. All 3 I mentioned above are in the light novel series, they have online copies here: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Infinite_Stratos. Season 1 and the OVA cover till the end of volume 4, so start with book 5.

Actually from what i've been reading around the net. Since the author has begun working on infinite stratos again with another company (cannot remember their name atm starts with a K i think) they said there will be a 2nd season we just dont know when right now

Yea man i agree i can't wait. I only recently got into the show and its like Demon king daimao with mechs its just so awesome. plus this series has SO much potential to have side stories and back stories with such ease. a Season 2 tho id bet would be around next spring or winter 2013 if i had to place a bet on it.

Do you know if there will be a second season? Because now it's been a while since the author was dismissed by media factory.Then his message on twitter, said he is working on a new project of macross frontier and is also continuing the light novels, from what I understand.Do you think there's going to be a 2 season??

I'd fucking love that.
Not that I don't like the other girls but in my opinion I find Charlotte to be the best out of all of them. She was just one of those really likable well-rounded characters that could understand that the guy is dense as fuck, intelligent, gorgeous of course and more. (In my opinion)

they say that the s2 of IS is on process so there will be a s2 maybe it will air on 2013. according to my source the contract between the author and the publisher company has been approve so they are starting to make it... lets all lokk forward to the upcoming s2 of IS...... i hope cahrlotte will be the partner of ichika..... i know im being selfish but it is not bad to just have suggestion because the chemistry of the two character is so exciting.... but they say sorry to the
fans of char because it is houki who wll be the partner of ichika grrrrrrrrr.make me angry#$%^&*( hahahahahaha)

The only people I recognize here is Chifuyu and her Assistant however if this is real then it'll be great the plot is a little bit shitty but I want fan service hope more Laura Bodewig :))
