| Uh why Mawaru Penguindrum? Those are two strange things to compare... The romance here is more of a side plot. It's more SoL than Mawaru's suffering drama. |
| I'm going to chime in with a No. In the words of the anime itself, "It's like I'm watching a teen drama." In my case, the romance nearly drowned out all the SoL elements at various points in the show, which is funny considering that there's no romance tag under Hanasaku Iroha's genre list. I had a better experience watching Amagami SS than this, if it's regarding the romance. |
