Powerups are nice but there's way too many in Dragon Ball now, there's a fine line between having power ups that make sense to the story and power ups that are just there to look cool oi bring some extra cash in. I thought it was getting a bit out of hand by the time ssj3 arroved since it was such a random appearance in the show, i'm glad Toriyama descided to end it after the buu saga. I had quite a lot of issues with the tournament of power arc. The first would be the constant dialogues on the sidelines you get in the middle of every fight where they start describing the obvious. The other was the sheer number of forgettable characters, I think I can only remember the ones Toriyama designed himself since they were the only ones who got any real attention, but even taking that into consideration they were pretty meh as characters. Using Jiren as an example, the guys backstory does not explain how he got as strong as he which I wouldn't have minded for other characters but this guy ws way too overpowered to just say he trained and got this strong, his backstory would have been much better if they had focused on explaining this plot point instaed of showing how his village got sacked when he still looked like a sperm cell. I will admit though that ultra instinct was a pretty nice power up though, I only wish they stuck to the original black haired version instead of the silver haired one.

The fights were good and having a more cast of characters was also good but they executed it incredibly poorly, the problem with Dragon Ball these days is that the only relavant characters are Goku and Vegeta since they're the only ones who keep getting power ups. The rest of the cast get more overshadowed the longer the series goes on which is why I believe it should have just ended It Z and not dragged on to mkae series like Super and GT
I think this the first time i'm hearing that someone liked GT, did you not get really annoyed when Goku got turned into a kid again, it was the most random chnage they did that didn't help improve the story at all.
Haha, that was my first anime as well, I managed to see one episode of it when I was 7 (the one where Vegito and Buu fought) and I thought it was incredibly cool, then when I was 10, I remembered watching that cool cartoon I saw when I was 7 which ended up in me watching the entire Dragon Balll franchise
I don't think I knew I was was watching anime though until 2 years later. Speaking of Dragon Ball though, did you like GT?

I've been watching anime regularly for the past 8 years but all my life if we're gonna count the shows I watched as a kid. Oh no, I'm not ready to be that age where I can reminice about being a kid, a lot of good and and bad has happended since I since that time but I only have good memories with anime :)
