He released his first album, Natsu Comi Otoshimashita (夏コミ落としました), in August of 2016. He chose the name Naruse (成瀬) because he thought it sounded cool, and replaced the a with q because he thought it looked like the letter alpha (α). The u disappeared due to a typo. nqrse has been part of the group AraNaruMey (あらなるめい) with fellow utaite ARAKI and Meychan since January of 2020.
