Storyboarding Soul Eater's OP1 was the best thing he did tbh. FMAB had some really wonky directing & flat visuals when there was no fight going on. Baffling.

@Shinuki_n_Reborn So you've got both ad populum and the "you can't do better" argument. Two logical fallacies in one.

lmaoo you have to laugh at some comments here, some random people trying to act like they know more about directing anime than the actual anime director, when you guys direct one of the best and most popular anime ever, maybe you can talk ;)

@_Rhythm_ remember Mobile Suit Gundam 00 director... that's the guy who handle the FMA 03. Btw he got his parody version as Kantoku in Shirobako

_Rhythm_ | Apr 28, 2018 6:24 AM
Brotherhood isn't even his 'only good work'. Brotherhood has trash directing, especially in the first few episodes (those random split screens in episode 3). Whoever did 2003 directing did a much better job.

KagariShiinauwu | Feb 27, 2018 10:14 AM
The directing for FMAB was actually pretty weak. 2003 had way better directing and i think the old director would have done a better job.

Should have taken the character development and pacing from 2003 while telling the manga's story.
