Edward Mannix was an actor and writer known for "Ninja Scroll" (1993), "Castle in the Sky" (1986), and "Hocus Pocus" (1993). He was a professional voice dubbing actor who extensively provided English-language voices for export versions of numerous Italian B-movies. Mannix was perhaps best known as the regular English-language voice of Italian actor Bud Spencer. He was also a stringer for Ring Magazine while living in Italy.

Ed Mannix was married to Joan Marie (Roynets) Burman. They had one child. He died on August 2, 1995, in Glendale, California, U.S.A.
