| That's probably a confusing title, but here's the situation. For Christmas my mom bought us tickets to go see Eva 3 in a theater. This would be completely awesome, except for one small detail: my mom doesn't watch any anime, and she definitely hasn't seen any Eva before. From what I've read in reviews, this seems like one of the worst places to start the series. Should I leave her hanging and let her try to piece it together? I may be able to get her to watch one of the movies. Would 1.0 or 2.0 help her understand more? She doesn't need to get everything. I just want her to get through the movie w ithout asking me what's going on every 5 seconds. |
| My opinion: Nobody knows wtf is going on during or after this movie anyways. Your mom will likely be confused and highly disturbed, will never watch anime again, and forbid you from ever watching it again. Watching the first 2 movies, or even the full series beforehand isn't likely to change anything. |

Hopefully 4.0 answers the questions 3.0 asks. |
