| Grace woke a few hours after extensive surgery. She groaned as she opened her eyes and looked around at the monitors and IVs in her arms. |

| Grace groaned and nodded, still out of it from the drugs. |

| Masaru had already gone through his surgery a while ago. He moved his arm slightly, it hurt, but it was tolerable. He was more worried about Grace. |

| Masaru sighed. "Good, glad to hear it." He then ruffled his hair. "You alright?" |

| Grace slept a little while longer until the surgeon arrived. "Hello, ma'am." "How bad?" she asked. "Well, your organs are intact, and you'll be alright. You'll have to be on bedrest for a few weeks and will need a wheelchair for awhile." Grace sighed. "Can I at least have sex?" He sighed. "Not for awhile...you miscarried during surgery." Grace blanched. "W-What?" The surgeon sighed. "We couldn't save the fetus. It died during surgery when you lost too much blood. I'm sorry," he said before leaving. |

| Aki was laying in a hospital room. The doctors just wanted to run a few to test to make sure that she really was preagnate. |

| (Bout wat?) "Good. You know the reason I didn't want you to pull the trigger, right?" Masaru asked him. |

| Masaru looked down slightly. "I see..." He said quietly, clenching his fist. "Thanks for telling me, Zero." (k) |

| Grace laid in her bed and cried quietly for a little while before she fell asleep again. |

| Rin phased through the wall. "Yo, Takeshi. You impressed me again. You even intimidated Ryo just a bit." He said chuckling. "They're still alive, aren't they?" Masaru asked, already knowing the answer. "I'll slaughter them, one way or another." |

| Aki looks at Zero. "My name is Aki. Who are you talking about?" |

| Grace woke a few minutes later when a nurse came in. She helped Grace into a wheelchair after she asked the nurse to let her see Masaru. The nurse complied after a few threats and wheeled her in. She left Grace beside Masaru's bed to give them some privacy. |

| "Well, crap's gonna' get boring in here. So later." Rin phased back through the wall. "Grace... I'm sorry... It's my fault..." Masaru said looking away from her. |

| Aki nods. "What about Trent? And yes, I knew your name already. You do know that I'm your sister-in-law right?" |

| "No it's not, Masaru," Grace said putting her hand on his and deciding not to say anything about the miscarriage. "It's the Kira's doing. Please don't blame yourself. We couldn't have known they were going to kidnap us." |

| "I promised you that I'd kill them before they had the chance to hurt you..." Masaru said quietly. "Were those two that came in afterwards the ones who kidnapped you?" |

| Aki looks at Zero. "How can you hate your own brother? Yes we're married, don't you remember you were there, Zero. You were our ring barer." She then starting to think. "I havn't fully decided on that yet, but I probably will after I finish things I would need to do here." Aki smiles. "Your niece or nephew will be just fine, I'm not that far along yet. I'm only about a week along. |

| Grace took his hand gently. "Yes, it was. I fought them off for as long as possible." |

| "I'll kill them... They'll pay for that. Next time I see them, I'll snap their necks." Masaru said clenching his fist. |

| Aki didn't get to ask him anymore questions he was already out the door. "Maybe next time, I'll get to ask if you hate me or not." |

| "Hi, baby," Grace smiled as she turned to Masaru. "It'll be okay," she said softly. "The doctor said none of it'll damage me permanently. I'll be in a wheelchair for a few weeks though." |

| "Zero. Do you hate him? Do you think what he did is unforgivable?" Masaru asked still looking away from them. |

| Grace looked to Masaru. "It's your decision, honey," she said grimacing as a pain shot through her abdomen. It was like a constant reminder of what she lost. |

| "Then he isn't your brother." Masaru said coldly, he then gripped Graces hand tightly. "I don't think that girl would be a threat, even if she had a gun. However, if she's allied with that Kira, she could work against us." |

| Aki continues to sit in her hospital room waiting to hear any news from the doctor. She still had all the paperwork and legal documents that she had found on Zero and Trent in her purse. She pulls the out and begins to read them again while waiting for the doctor. (Well, every one I'm gonna head to bed. It's almost a quarter after one where I live and I'm really beginning to get tired. so goodnight for now.) |

| (Night) Grace smiled softly and wiped her eyes before any tears fell. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "If you think she won't be a problem Zero, then fine. But if she ever even gives me a reason to suspect that she'll try to hurt either of you. I won't hesitate." Masaru said quietly. |

| Grace sighed and her eyes watered when she heard the word pregnant. She sniffled and wiped her eyes before any tears could fall. She didn't want Masaru to know she lost his baby. |

| "I will kill that other Kira. I don't care about getting shot a few times. But going after you two." Masaru tightened his grip on Grace's hand. |

| Grace smiled. "I-It's okay, Zero. Mommy'll be alright." |

| Masaru loosened his grip. "Sorry..." He said quietly. "Yeah, I do..." |
