Angelic Layer is defentilly one of the much better competition sports animes out there,because it's filled with drama,friendship,courage,a real plot,and best of all......EVERYONE ACTUALLY FOLLOWS DA RULES......thats right people,unlike beyblade or battle be-daman,no one tries to get away with cheating by dystroying each others angel dolls and they actually follows the rules and respect each other,which is why I love this anime and plus it's a CLAMP masterpiece ^^

and not to mention,this is basically like a shoujo Megaman Nt Warrior,only difference is,instead of using net navi's to jack into the internet,you use battle dolls in a hologram stadiam.
