| In the anime I loved the scene at the end of Madam Red's arc. Where he says the following:: "Even if your throne crumbles and your shiny crown turns to rust. Even if the bodies pile up endlessly. Above the bottomless piles of corpses beside you as you lay softly down I will be, until I hear the words, check mate." ^Probably the most epic anime quote ever. In the manga, I loved this one:: "Helplessly struggling, kicking down other people, stealing the stolen while repeating their reasons over again, and still they aim for the horizon over the hills. That's why humans are interesting." ^Said by Sebastian at the end of the Circus arc. Yana Toboso is definitely not your average mangaka. I loved every single spoken word in the manga/anime. |
