Greatest disgrace of a manga by anime adaptation?

| Rurouni Kenshin definitely! The show was poorly dubbed and i consider the animation below par. Plus it ended with a whole season of fillers. The OVAs were also poor because of the heavy use of real life footage mixed poorly with animation. If your going to animate it then animate it! Don't layer animation over a filmed fire or an ocean scene....we can tell. |

It's true that the TV series wasn't something special (although you can't blame the creators of the anime for the poor american dub) but the OVAs are among the best anime I've seen. They were beautifully animated and almost perfectly scripted. It's true that I didn't notice the real life footage, but even if I had, I don't see a reason why it would have bothered me.^^ |
