Well it would be really nice to end the manga sometime soon, and if he wants to continue the story then maybe make a spinoff manga for the epilogue.

Quite sure it simply means that he has decided which number will be the final chapter. So it doesn't mean it ends anytime soon, it could end at chapter 350 as well as chapter 400 or more.
