omnibus release quality

anybody has the omnibus release? apparently it's kind of cheapo, is this ur experience as well? i dont know whether i should buy it from amazon
its quite thick as well, is it readable? or its gonna fall apart if i open it to wide?

Yeah I have all 7 volumes. It's pretty good, as far as omnibuses go. The spine is sturdy enough, and I pick the manga up quite often. Still remains decent, but it definitely wouldn't survive being thrown around. It's up to you of course. I bought one volume first, to check the quality, was happy and bought the rest. So that would be my advice as well if you're unsure.

i got them and im satisfied, they don't feel too sturdy but theyre good enough
i know xxxholic is saught after, but i thought that getting the omnibus would be easy
volume 4 is like completely gone, can't get it anywhere unless for a really really ridiculous price
i was ready to overpay for the sake of completionism, but not that much
